1100 views and no likes?!? Come on people. I’ve been having the same problem with shifting and been looking for videos to fix this. Thanks for the video man
If you shim the secondary clutch and get the belt in the center of the primary it may help. But if it’s still turning the belt and secondary at idle then you have to replace the one way bearing on the primary. Until then I recommend shutting the rzr off and shifting with the motor off the keep from damaging the transmission.
I looked at my belt today and it was rubbing on the back of the primary. I picked up a spacer for the drive clutch, hopefully that will help. I've gone through 6 belts in just the 4 years I've owned mine.
It probably will make a huge difference. The alignment is so important and everything I've researched so far has shown by either adding or taking away spacers, you can align it properly.
You do a good job and help explain the little things the service manuals leave out...

Absolutely! Hope it works for you!
Awesome, thanks man. It's so much better. I bought a 0.030 and a 0.060 thickness shim, it took the 0.060 shim to get it centered!

Hey My 11 rzr800s grinds while trying to shift between gears at idle . Do you think it could be my primary clutch
Yes that's what it sounds like! But if I were you I would check all that stuff through there well. Make sure nothing is binding up or catching.
It's your bearing. It's probably sticking. When u started it. The secondary should not spin.
