  • Talking about having a lot of anger when it comes to being sick and not able to participate in things and the need to let it go. Take things in to your own hands and be your own advocate! Also a little show and tell of some knitting projects and how knitting helps me emotionally. Shout out to my friend, Maria!

    Are you on Ravelry?
(Same user ID there for me)
I have EDS as well and haven't knit in months because my hands & wrists won't support my projects.
What bracing do you use when knitting? I tried w/ my wrist braces but velcro kept catching the yarn.
Fingerless mitts are the best. I have pairs everywhere. From what I can tell, yours look nice.
Thanks for mentioning the anger. I struggle with it too.

    Hi there WackyLisa!
I use arthritis compression gloves, or the futuro wrist support with light compression... I know a lot of people like Handeze Flex Fit arthritis gloves. My hands tend to give me a lot of problems, and I have had to modify how I knit. I wear Oval - 8 finger braces, the gloves, and lots of pillows set around my to rest my arms. I also take a lot of breaks, and I've found needles that are A LOT easier on my hands. Knit Picks Harmony Circulars. Oh, my RavID: PounceDeLeon.
