Without spoiling, you're going to love what is coming in the later days of the event. Something truly spectacular happened.
I am so glad I saw it live today :)
Without spiering it, you could say! 😉😉😉🤣
It's probably the craziest thing I've ever seen😂
Had to look that thing up. Lol what in the world did I just watch :D
@@jaakkopontinen it’s absolutely fucking insane! No wheelspin, just shoots off like a bullet from a gun. 2 tonnes of downforce before setting off! So bonkers!
The most emotional moment of FOS for me was seeing Wayne Rainey riding his race bike up that hill. First time he has ridden since becoming paralysed from the chest down almost 30 years ago. Absolute legend of racing before Moto GP.
Yeah. I saw that clip, dindt know what I was watching. Tnx for telling.
People who say that was the first time Wayne Rainey has ridden in 30 years don't know shit.
Here's a clip of Wayne Rainey riding a bike, that has been on UA-cam for 2 years. The event itself was around 4 years ago at suzuka.
ua-cam.com/video/wOMLYkOYvmw/v-deo.html
Also about a year before this he ride another bike. I modern Yamaha R1 especially developed for him.
That was the first time he had been on a bike since his accident.
ua-cam.com/video/PcEtLd316ZE/v-deo.html
You're not completely correct. This was first time when he rode his MotoGP bike again, but in 2019 he was on the Suzuka circuit riding modified Yamaha R1, along with Eddie Lawson, Kenny Roberts, and Takuma Aoki who's also paralysed. At that occasion, he was able to reach speed of 250km/h, which is simply mindblowing

@@IWrocker That Mercedes literally has the same engine (bit modified for easier startup and more reliability) as the AMG Mercedes F1 car!
The Gordon Murray T50 is a Fan Car. Super cool concept. It sucks air out from beneath the car generating significant downforce at 0 mph. Gordon Murray is most known for designing the McLaren F1.
The most noteworthy car at Goodwood this year was the McMurtry Speirling, also a fan car and it smashed the record up the hill!
What's the evil black beast in front of the T50 @1:09?
@@megamond an Eadon Green Zeclat
So at 1:03 the blue car is a Gordon Murray Automotive GMA T.50, it's a 3 seater, pilot in the middle, passengers on the sides, with a high revving na v12, and a mannual gearbox.
the man behind this project is Gordon Murray, an F1 engineer who worked with Brabham and McLaren, he is the man who thought the McLaren F1 road car.
At 2:00 you can see a Mercedes AMG Project One, an hybrid road going hyper car with a reworked F1 power unit an crazy active aero.
2:15 is the Rimac Nevera, a 2000 hp electric hypercar made by Rimac Automobili, a young croatian company working with Bugatti.
At 2:37 you can see the Koenigsegg Jesko in Absolut trim, a car made with low downforce in order to brake the 500 kph barrier.
3:02 is the same car in "normal" trim, more track focused .
Hope it helps !
Up this comment
for the bmw's, the "crakle pops" noise is from the antilag. It is a system that eliminates turbo lag by creating saprks in the exhaust manifold and makes the turbo spin even tho the engine doesn't create exhaust gases
It’s anti lag / ignition cut rev limiters… most rev limiters work by cutting the fuel, ignition cut removes the spark and leaves the fuel which is free to combust in the hot exhaust, this can preduce pressure that can cause turbos to keep sipping or whatever… general it’s just used by dickheads who thinks it makes there care sound powerful whilst actually destroying multiple components (external combustion… no!)
@@cunningstunt9226 ty babe i struggle with explaining things in english, bc i am not native
The Mercedes is the AMG ONE with a real F1 Engine plus the Hybrid System and its made for the Street👍 1063 HP
It’s a „real“ F1 Engine with Restrictions 😬😂
And The Mercedes AMG One is dissapointing pls dont roast me
And way slower then a p1 or ferrari
@@L4ftyOne Agreed
@@L4ftyOne it holds the production car record for the Nürburgring so I have no clue were you got that from. The p1 ran a 6:43.3 and the AMG one ran a 6:30.75. The p1 is behind a 992 gt2 rs. The fastest ferrari is 17th.
Man i love Goodwood, you have the greatest of classic cars, rally cars, the newest hyper cars and prototypes all on 1 event!
First car was THE CAR> Gordon Murrays new Car after the legendary maclaren F1.
best engineered car out there.
Naturally aspirated 12 by cosworth..fan assisted.
CHECK OUT THE T50S
Sold OUT
I’ve loved following the development of this car. I’ve been looking forward so much to seeing it actually roll under its own power.
It’s great but after seeing it around all those other machines, it looked kinda ugly and boxy.
Gordon Murray, “we use fans to create downforce, it’s revolutionary….”
Mr McMurty, “hold my beer….”
🤣
I would say the czinger c12 is the best engineered tbh
the van at the 6 minute mark is the ford supervan 4, full electric with more power than 2 f1 cars (2,038hp) and 0-60 in less than 2 seconds
Hey man I work as a Marshal at Goodwood and the absolute highlight event for me is the Revival. An entire weekend of proper racing from the 60's and earlier, E types going wheel to wheel with AC Cobras. D Type Jags, massive Bentleys it's fantastic!
I love seeing the old cars from the 30s racing time laps with gradually faster and faster cars coming non stop
Did I dream this or did some guy wreck his Ferrari Bread Van racing there? A car worth millions.
@@FrowningIke He certainly crashed it a few years back but it's been fully restored and raced again since. There's been plenty of crashes over the years but it's all a part of racing. I had a BSA Gold Star Bike grenade itself and shatter the crank case all into the farring coming down the straight. Rider hopped off, gave me the bike and just walked off! 🤷♂️
@@DigitalPheasant the 250 drogo breadvan was crashed badly again at the LeMans classic this year
The goodwood record was just broken, an electric monster just broke physics and smashed an F1 car, the former record holder🤯
It so insane it doesn't look real!
paint it black, the ultimate batmobile :D
Looks like it was fired off the line with a steam powered catapult from an aircraft carrier
the record was the volkswagon idr, it broke heidfelds f1 mclaren run.
@@jasoneade7978 true but the new fan car is even faster
It genuinely looks like the video was playing at 2x speed when that did it's run
The S15 you saw has a Liberty Walk body kit on it. It also has a 4 rotor engine, that coincidentally my friends Dad recently tuned to run on the fuel they could get here in the UK. Makes about 850 ish horsepower but the engine is a bit tired so the rev limit is kept pretty low.
I don't know the car but I could immediately tell it had a rotary engine. : )
Wasn’t that Liberty Walk S15 originally a famous drag car out of Japan? I remember seeing that car before LW bought it
@@original__gmebvy I've no idea to be honest. I knew basically nothing about it until my friend said it was in his Dad's place getting dyno'd and tuned.
To me it looks like an homage to the s110 s12 car. Almost identical livery and aero kit style wise
You should react to the history of Supervan. The first was built on a GT40 chassis the following 2 were benneton F1 cars underneath. They also did a Martini livery rally van too
Supervans II & III used a Ford C100 Group C chassis. Supervan II had a Cosworth DFL V8 - it was then rebodied, for Supervan III, with a more modern Transit shell and the engine was swapped for a Cosworth HB V8. Supervan II debuted in 1984 - the first Benetton F1 was made for the 1986 season and used a BMW engine.
Remeber the Renault F1 Espace!
The old-school big block right where your boxes are supposed to be. Wicked flairs widebody before widebody.
If you like fast vans, look for the Renault Espace F1 from the 90's
That interesting car with the fan in the back is the T.50 designed my Gordan Murray, the mind behind the Mclaren F1. its actually a fan to help with downforce, helps suck the car to the ground.
It wasn’t designed to look good either. I hope FIA seriously consider using one as pace/safety car
To be accurate, the fan helps draw air up into the wasted parts of the diffuser. It's still the diffuser creating the downforce.
That Ford van is a Ford Transit Supervan, Ford Europe has made Transit Supervans since the first model ('65) so this is I believe the SuperVan 4
yes ian!! keep doing the goodwood festival of speed stuff, this is a great event. Also check out 'smith and sniffs' guide to the Cartier lawn and other supercar/ iconic car paddocks at the festival.
I've only found your channel like a week ago, but I love the fact that you are willing learn about cars and car-related events from all over the world. As a European car guy, I also love to learn about American, Australian, etc. cars which were never sold here. And I must admit, NASCAR is awesome, I've only started to follow it 5 years ago, but never missed a Cup Series race since then and I'm also binge watching older seasons during the off-season.
That’s great to hear!!! You and me both learning so much about the super fun car world of so many different countries 😎
Welcome to the channel 🎉👏
Watch Bill Elliott's win from 2 laps down...UNDER GREEN FLAG conditions...the mightiest performance in Nascar history, won the race running the whole field down TWICE at Talladega (Nascar's FASTEST track), 1985, with a huge lead at the end too !!
I am so glad that I subscribed to your channel while you're still relatively fresh to the subscription scene.... 73k? WTF? You're are awesome man! Probably my favorite channel right now :D
the fun thing about pagani is, that they use highly modified V12 engines out of 90‘s Mercedes-Benz S-Classes😂✌🏻
It's a brilliant event and the right way to do a car show.
The official Goodwood Festival of Speed UA-cam channel gives you all the information, unless it's blocked in your country.
I was lucky enough to experience my first time at FOS on the Saturday and it was a top tier bucket list Item. The scale of the place is insane and no matter what country your from I seen people from all over the world flock over just to come to the festival. It was truly an unforgettable experience and definitely one of the best automotive events on the planet. Definitely worth flying over next year for it pal.
The Ford van is all electric, first released at Goodwood and around 2000 horsepower! it was insanely fast to watch in person
also all of the drift cars had engine swaps, they were producing up to 1600 horsepower. insane, the orange one broke it's driveshaft in the first run (in the video) but carried on with his second car. I think the corvette also broke it's differential on that run. The corvette was also a rotary!
The ford van is also following a trend of Ford transit Supervans built using F1 chassis'
at 7:32 it's the Mercedes AMG One, a really fast car, as you can see while stopped you can get into sport mode, so the car lowers and the front wings lift up and the back wing lift up too
I bet the driver is thinking "Ready for Warp Speed Captain!".
Great reaction. I love Goodwood FOS, it's basically Comic-Con for cars. This is the Sunday shoot out, in which the last car broke the hill climb record. Might not be suitable for a reaction video, but we'll worth watching ✌💙
Great video as always brother.
Quick one for you. The car from the very beginning with the fan at the back is the Gordon Murray T50. He is the guy that designed the legendary McLaren F1 that you noticed later on. It’s a pretty impressive technical achievement, check out the specs. I agree, it’s not a pretty car.
You gotta check out the Mcmurty Speirling on the time attack up the hill. It’s absolutely fuckin insane!!! Mind blowing, it looks like it’s been shot from a gun!
Peace out bro. 🙏🏻
The Ford Transit Supervan reminded me of Sabine Schmitz overtaking Porches and Bike with a old stock Ford transit on the Nurburgring. I think the Subaru T. Pastrana is driving is a Subaru Wagon GL and they call it "The Family Huckster".
you need to check out the new course record.. absolutely mind blowing
I was there and saw it beat the record, it’s nuts! Never seen anything so fast. Crazy car. You could clearly tell it was the fastest car of all of them and that was from the glimpse you got watching it fly past you.
The fan in the back of the car has a function it creates alot of downforce hence why it was banned in F1
best 15minutes ever.. thanks mate. and cheers
That Ford electric van managed to get the 5th (iirc) fastest time this event, that thing is absolutely rapid! As others have said, definitely watch the next part too, the best has yet to come.
"you don't want to see these guys spin out" - oh yes, you do. That's kinda the thrill of Goodwood :)
Lot of cars to see at goodwood. Love the look of that AMG one and the sound of that m4 CSL, but that supervan 4 tho, wow!
Damn you only gave it 2 days that van is badass! I watched it live! Insane
I was at FOS all 4 days in 2013 and it's the greatest show on earth. The car park at goodwood is better than most car shows.
MB AMG One, has F1 engine and tech in it, the Blue one was Rimac Nevera (EV), Orange one with the huge wing was Koenigsegg Jesko. White Subaru, is Travais Pastrana's car, has active aero, for the next Ghymkhana
Barrels are used as clipping points for drifting
8:26 that is Rally Style Anti Lag used to keep it in boost when off throttle. That cool looking car is a Mercedes-AMG ONE.
I was watching a lot of the Goodwood live stream on the weekend, makes me want to go there next year!
I hope there will be more Goowood videos, I recommend you watch some from previous years, because there are some cars that were not there this year for example: last generation V10 F1 cars (These were about as iconic in the world as the Nascar sound in America, and different engines had different sounds, sometimes very different, but unfortunately they were last used in 2005. This engines have a special history in the hearts of fans and in motorsport history! Powerfull, strong, loud, rapid. The throttle response of the engine is so fast that you can play almost any song with the engine using the engine tuner computer program! )
The Pagani was the Huayra R, the first car of the video was the Aston Martin Valkyrie, and that "weird looking car" was the GMA T. 50.....the Pagani is track-only, 9200 RPM NA V12 (I think it's a 7,0 L V12), it produces 850 HP and weighs in at 1,050 kg. It also creates 1000kg of downforce at 320 km/h......
Now the other two ones are road legal, the T. 50 weighs 986 kg and produces 654 hp, it's engine is a 3,9L NA V12 that revs to 12,100 rpm
The Valkyrie is the road legal version of what was planned to be a LMH race car, it has a 6,5 L NA V12 that outputs 1000 HP plus am additional 160 HP through an electric Motor and it revs to 11,100 rpm
Its aero was designed by Adrian Newey, Red Bulls F1 Aero head.
Then you had the Czinger 21c, I think it's 1/1 in weight to power, it produces 1233 HP and actually holds the record at Laguna Seca for street legal cars.
the blue car at 1:03 and 6:38 is the gordon murray automotive t50, designed by the same guy that designed the mclaren f1. it also has 3 seats, driver in the middle and an na v12, PLUS that weird circle in the back is fan exhaust vent, its a fan car, so it uses the fan to create downforce at any speed
As someone who competes at goodwood I can vouch for the insanity that is there. You have cars that are nearly 100 years old all they way to prototypes it's truly a mind blowing experience. I personally compete on the rally stage at the top of the hill and it is just as insane. I would love to tell you more and explain the goodwood experience to you if you send me a message I will definitely have a chat with you.
the panel van was the latest ford supervan. ford built a series of vehicles on the transit platform the first used a cosworth DVF f1 V8 to take a mk1 transit to 165 mph. the mk 2 and 3 followed the same formula, grp look alike body on a modified f1 chassis getting to 200mph. the 4th was the rally van and could haul ass down a really stage. the current one is, eleectric and good for 2000 bhp!
Yeah I went to Goodwood FOS in 2018, the weather was sublime and the cars were insane
2:07 That's an AMG One. The fun fact about that thing is that it's powered by the Mercedes AMG F1 engine.
2:16 That's an all electric 2000hp Rimac Nevera (made in Croatia).
3:07 Koenigsegg Yesko. A Swedish hypercar that is currently the fastest car in the world (330mph or 531km/h)
6:30 Hennessey Venom F5. American contender for the fastest car in the world (so far it did 290mph while testing)
11:14 Aston Martin Valkyrie. It's V12 is co-developed with Red Bull Racing Team.
490 km/h is 305 mi/h - 330 mi/h is 530 km/h
@@alexandruianu8432 I messed up the conversions, sorry
Agreed. BMW has lost its looks for me. The constant pops and crackles are actual anti-lag, reduces turbo lag.
And it's getting and worse with the years, i7 anyone ?
Mercedes is the opposite, idk about their newest cars because I haven't been paying close attention but when ever cars on the market were looking bad like 10 years ago Mercedes led the pack with the best looking cars on the market and gradually other car manufacturers followed
Agreed. I've always driven straight-six beamers, but unless something drastic happens I'll just have to drive my E60 until the wheels fall off and then find another brand.
The latest 3/4-series are hideous, only beaten by the i4...
8:49 Good bless u! Thats the opionion from me and other
car enthusiasts over here in Germany...
The weird turbine rear ended car, is a Gordon Murray designs T50... It's what's called a fan car, they use a fan to pull air from under the car improving the downforce through ground effect without increasing aerodynamic drag.
For reference Gordon Murray is one of the best sports/race car designer ever. He gave us the first carbon fiber race cars (McLaren MP4/2) and was the lead designer on the McLaren F1.
The T50 is kind of the spiritual successor to the F1.
The highlight for me was the McMurty breaking the overall hill climb record as an EV, and also another fan car.
Konniegseg, hennesey, subaru gl wagon ,mercedes gt one and many more, have to see all days
My man knows Godzilla!? One of the reasons you're the only react channel I watch with motorsports stuff. Love the disbelief when the ford van went past.
You was spot on with the last one its a Big turbo LS powered gtr. Look up baggsy all the spare GTR bits are now 1000hp and in a pick-up😂
I was there in person, hands down the bedt event I've been to in my life. Seeing all these beautiful cars in person and the sounds they make is so much more amazing and powerful in person and they look a hell of a lot faster in real life

I was waiting to see your reaction to the McMurtry .... I think that needs its own dedicate video for that one haha
that body kit on the white S15 was to mimic the silhouette style cars that raced in japan one example i can think of off the top of me head is the Nissan skyline turbo super silhouette which if i remember right the base car was an old 1983 skyline which a different version of that same car was used in Group C racing
I do plan to go to Goodwood probably next year. They most exciting thing is my friend plans to sell his old race car at the auction they have. His car is a Formula Ford from the days he used to race and it's old enough to be a classic/vintage model. He raced it in the 1980s and 1990s. We used to go as a sort of support crew with him and saw him race Silverstone, Brands Hatch, Snetterton and Mallory Park. It meant we got to go in the paddock area and see very cool cars. I saw a Porsche 959 loads of Ferrari's and I saw a number plate on 2 different flash cars over the years. It has now been removed from circulation it was PEN 15 for obvious reasons the government withdrew it years later. I also saw 2 Aston Martin DG4 GT Zagato's from the 1960s racing (some were late 1950s) There were less than 20 ever back then and it's one of these that set the record for the most expensive British cars sold at auction. With fees the cost was over £10,000,000. Now that is special to think I saw 2 that were in the same race.
i have been to the goodwood festival of speed back in 2012 when i was in collage and it was amazing and everything that was shown on the streams of the 4 days was spectacular and like someone who already said in the comments, something spectacular happened on the later days of the event
G'day mate you need to check out Goodwood hill climb top ten runs this year and the fan car record absolutely awesome. Every year the shootout delivers truly it's one the best motorsport events every year
That first Mercedes has the 2016 F1 engine in it with over 1000 hp. Has drs and all too
The white and yellow S15 was running a Liberty Walk silhouette style kit and has a 1200hp 4 rotary engine. The carbon Kevlar corvette also had a 3 rota engine in it. Last GTR is again has a Liberty Walk body kit and a 1000hp LSX V8 that has 1 F***ing BIG turbo on it
I know i am late but this video is a gold mine to fullfil your car passion. In order the first ones are already few weeks of deep dive and wtf along the way. You have the amg one … only production car with a real F1 engine, the Gordon murray t 50 ( and you should make videos on Gordon Murray and Adrian Newey ) , bugatti chiron supersport ( check the channel Welt documentaries you have a full a doc on how the chiron is built ) and Koenigsegg the future of hypercars along with the croatian genius Mate Rimak.
Goodwood has indeed a lot of variety. There were also three NASCAR stock cars there. One was Jeff Gordon's Impala. (I know almost nothing about NASCAR except for a few names and cars 😂)
The one with the fan at the back is a new Gordon Murray vehicle. He was the one who designed the mclaren F1 and this is pretty much a modern F1. It’s not necessarily a car for style but more a car for drivers! Centre driving position m, and that fan is a functional fan creating suction under the car for more downforce.
Can't wait for day 3, I love Goodwood, only been once, can't wait to go again 👍
Several epic moments on day 4: Wayne Rainey popping wheelies; the McMurtry breaking the hill record 39.08; former World Champion Nigel Mansel driving Jim Clarks 1972 F1 Lotus, his own Williams F1 Champion car and his "Red 5" Ferrari
The drifting corvette I believe was a rotary swapped turbo and the gtr was a boosted ls
You should check out the on board video of the Mercedes AMG One at the Nurburgring. Absolutely mind bending.
Goodwood FOS & Revival are probably, if not 'the' greatest motorsport events in the world. Just the complete variety of motorsports & vehicles being showcased in various ways from static displays, car launches, hill climb to races & drift/off-road courses.
I love how quick you can recognize 20+ year old cars. Lol you're like me, I don't know what half this newer stuff is.
Haha I know right! I thought I knew heaps about the car world… well I do, the car world from 1999 lmao 🤣 🤣🤣
That s15 is a pro drift car in Japan. Its got a rotary engine. The bodykit is from a company call Liberty Walk. It's replicating the old school style of jdm bodykits in circuit racing
Just completely awesome….cheers
Been to Goodwood a load of times, met my hero's, in racing. If you come over to the UK ,go see the Isle of Man TT 2 weeks earlier , then Glastonbury, Then Goodwood.
Have been to goodwood a few times ,gave this year a miss ,It is an excellent day lots to see static and dynamic displays
noriyaro did some videos in japan about this where they drift vans very good video btw
You are right, that r35 GTR has a boosted LSX engine.
awesome reaction, the first bugatti was a Chiron the second one a Veyron!
8:40 the BMWs are using an antilag system. This keeps the turbos making boost at all times, even off throttle.
That thing after the McLaren and before the ancient Subaru was the Mission H24 LMPH2G Hydrogen powered LMP race car.
It's nuts.
Try the Goodwood Revival event as well, it is the ultimate motorsport party, with emphasis on party.
@Iworcker: The Mercedes, is a Mercedes (project 1) with a proper F1 engine drivetrain including all the electric stuff, Slightly modified and tuned for the road. Only a 200-300 are made of these.
The car with the fan on the rear is the Gordon Murray T50 and the fan sucks air from under the car for downforce in place of a rear wing.
Gordon Murray was the man behind the design of the McLaren F1 you can see lots of similarities between the 2 cars.
You gotta do a bit on the time trial record breaker from this year, that thing was surreal it was so quick.
I know you react to a lot of Aussie stuff, but you should look into NZ drift trikes. Also, one thing from your side of the pond that amazed me, is downhill barbie jeep racing. It looks equal measure insanity and fun. Definitely worth checking out.
AMG One is designed as road legal F1 car, same engines, same tech, holds road legal car lap records in many tracks.
and good ears on drift GT-R, it is turbo LSX
The first nissan that came out with the Liberty walk body kit definitely had a rotary in it
the crazy popping you hear is anti lag, keeps the turbo spooling off throttle so there is reduced Turbo lag, same thing you hear on Rally Cars
Don't worry, as a BMW enthusiast, and owner of several models, i feel the same. The last gen I liked from them is the F family, but the last really good one was the E90 family.
Hi, I was at Goodwood Festival Of Speed all 4 days. Day 1 just just a tip of an iceberg of what was there. The Drift cars know how to show off ( Corvette, R35 GTR, Silvia S14/15's). I've got two short videos on my channel (50yrs celebration of BMW M Sport and Drift Cars).
3:25 That S15 body kit reminds me of the Super Silhouette Skyline R30 from the 80's
The Gymkhana Subaru is hilarious, the Hoonigan cars are always crazy
3:26 That's the LB Racing Super Silhouette Nissan Silvia S15. I actually have a Hot Wheels model of it.
Yeah the looks of the new BMWs is really controversial
Personally when you see them live they dont look half bad i think
But the m3/m4 engine is straight up race tech
Inline 6 turbo 500 hp and tuners pushed it up to over 1000 within weeks
Its an extremely crasy engine bmw build there
some of them look even worse in person. The X series is a great example. I am forever scarred to seeing those massive grilles in person. It looked so much worse when it was the size of a dinner table
Your bmw take is spot on. The new cars are still fast but they have none of the soul or beauty
That Transit reminds me of the Renault Espace F1 they made in the early/mid 90's.
A Renault Espace people carrier, with a V10 F1 engine yoinked straight out of Alain Prost’s FW15C F1 car, running throught the middle of it.
750bhp and 550lb/ft torque running 0-60 in 2,8 seconds with the airodynamics of a block of cheese.
Also, a driftcar loosing parts of its kit is like the bare basics. If it's not from hitting something, it'll be from someone else bumper being left on the road and tearing yours off.

My guess is that area where the driftcars where whipping it in and hitting the barrel/gripping up was wawaaaayyyy grippier than they expected. I know the liberty walk and driftworks Silvias were piloted by some good drivers like.
That corvette was a new build and had never been tested or driven before Goodworth and its a 3 rota fitted 😁
You should try to visit Goodwood FOS sometime, they’ve opened the paddocks back up now covid is controlled. You can speak to the owners or mechanics for all the cars, I was chatting to the guy who makes the gearbox software for the Aston Martin Valkyrie after he was revving it in the paddocks. Their are some utterly legendary cars there, they had Michael Schumacher’s Benetton F1 car he won his first ever drivers championship in going up the hill for instance. It’s a fantastic event, been several times now. You need two days minimum really to see everything.
If can only attend one event in the world, this would be it. All the top drivers from every genre of motorsport world wide attend Goodwood and can been seen walking around.
You can find cars from Every branch of the sport and every era. Nascar, F1, Rally, Trucks etc etc have had a run up the hill.
If you are a car nut, this is heaven.
since you enjoyed the Ford van, I think you should check out the Renault Espace F1 driven by Alain Prost, in the last 90's or early 2000's. A simalar car, but built with a Formula 1 engine haha
It’s an awesome event, and as much as the cars on the track are amazing, the manufacturers stands are just as amazing. I mean when can you get up close to Porsche, Ferrari etc to get a close look at the latest models.
