Simple, concise explanation, how to practise it on your own, how it should look like and the reasons behind why you should do this. Just great, thank you so much!
How are you reading my mind?? All the videos you've released recently are literally exactly what I'm trying to work on, when I'm trying to work on it. Thank you!!
Thank you so much! USA is the motherland of modern archery. I haven't found any content on this problem on Russian internet segment. Now I know what to correct in my full draw position.
Thank you! My coach told me about "slouch posture". But I miss information about diafragm breathing! Now I'm going to control this moment. Thanks a lot!
wow good timing for me.. we had lots of chats on discord about hitting left.. and you even to mentioned to me about clearances then.. I shall really take note when I shoot tomorrow. Thanks for a great video :)
Do you think this also creates more clearance for string slap? I rotate my elbow quite well, but still get string slap with anything except the most perfect release.
Superb....pless tell about Expansion..which force used Externaly or internally. How to do expansion in archery. It's internal expansion or external expansion. My point is what internal force should be done or if so what forces should be expanded.
Does this also work for a woman with a very large chest? Can you please make a video for that? I’m really nervous to start shooting again now that I have an augmentation
Hi Jake, love the videos. Question about proper alignment. I'm double jointed on the elbow. I watched your form series and the recent alignment video. When I try it, my elbow hyper extends leaving my bicep getting string slapped. Any advice?
I find I don't care so much about arrow trajectory when the bow string nearly takes my nipple off. At times like those, I don't care if I'm in the yellow or not. I could see it being a real advantage the way traditional Asiatic archers lean forward - no nipple pain!
Very interesting video. I suspect I've probably got poor form in this way. If I shoot without a chest guard the shot feels strange and can be poor. Generally only take one shot before I realise I've forgotten to put on my chest guard. Would having a longer bow make this worse? I'm 6'2" burly chested, 31" draw and currently use a 72" bow but had been thinking of going to a 74" bow due to string angle, I've got a pretty decent callus on my index finger which I think is due to the string angle. No callus' on other fingers.
So you are telling me that +20 years sitting in front of computers is now actually useful in archery? I thought the opposite, that you should stand straight, and that's why I've been "over correcting" my posture while shooting. I've only 6 months of archery behind me and having a bit of problem sometime with string catching on something. I'll try to stand "normally" next practice time.
Much better intro ☺️

I been having this problem since moving up to 50lbs from 35.
Makes sense.
Really appreciate all your content
Wow that’s a big jump

I asked about this in last video n he posted it perfect!
Great information. I have the problem or arrows going left. Never thought of my chest getting in the way. On my way downstairs to work on it. Thanks.
Newbie 50 yr old archer here. I was just wondering how to do this. Perfect timing
Hey Jake. Is that reply legit from you? Checks as a landline from argyle Tx. Or did you get hacked and this is a fishing expedition?
Thank you

Please do with compound bow also
Hey are you reading my mind 😂,today I was just thinking how to do this and you posted at the perfect time 💯😂🔥
Nothing like nip/string interference😱👀. Great info!
Awesome I never thought of that I’ll have to try it. Thanks
Great tip! Superb video Jack!
Great explanation. Thank you ,Jake.

Hmmmmm I need to bear this one in mind. I'm doing a full form redo based on your info
Thanks very much. Any advice to barebow shooters (anchor under cheekbone) for not hitting nose?

Jake has already posted many videos on archery form: I'm 99% sure that (at least) one of them is explicitly focussed on this issue.

The imaginary bow is very helpful for practicing technique.
Should we lean forward too?
BTW, love your videos. Thanks for years of quality info and training. Much appreciated :)

Hey Jake, How about a video on proper bow arm elbow angle or rotation?

@@JakeKaminskiArchery No not yet! I thought I've watch through your whole channel. Thanks for the link!
If you tighten your core, how to breathe with your abdomen, which will loosen it?

"Much in the way of body awareness"? Was that a euphemism for severely overweight?
No, just aware of the location and control of body parts. Unless you practice it, you won’t have awareness.

I got a bruise on my chest from shooting my fifty pound.
This video will help

Very kung-fuish :)
I miss the old intro music :(

I can’t describe the look my wife gave me when the string hit her….uhm…chest, yeah her chest that’s it!
"Be lazy" - pretty sure this is not what is happening there.
