So use pinnacle , a sharp book, to see what the sharp line is and then find soft lines at other books?

I work a full time job 8-5 Monday-Friday. I also have a family I enjoy spending time with. Is it realistic that I could do this consistently with the rapidly changing odds?

So no alerts for people chatting, sending emojis, etc. just focused on getting the picks out. We are currently offering an MLB playoffs or playoffs/World Series package.

I've been limited on betmgm, fanduel, and twinspires using mainly arbitrage bets but with some ev bets, any tips on avoiding that and is there a way to get that reversed?

    • @wagerlife844

      1. Using as many books as possible. To allow for variance: winning and losing on each book.
      2. If you see one line is truly broken, the linemaker totally messed up, is an error. Not just off, but broken. As tempting as it is. If you want to keep playing on that book, don’t go crazy hammering it. Bet reasonably or pass. This is often a reason people get limited is when they bet on “glitches” which is really popular on Twitter, glitch hunting and hammering those. This is a way to get on the radar of Sportsbooks.
      3. Try not to do too many bets on ridiculously juiced lines -900, -700 etc, again it just raises flags if that’s all you’re doing as somewhat abnormal behavior.
      4. This one is nitpicky and not sure how much it matters, but round up or down a little and take a slight loss on profit. So instead of betting 124.39 bet $125. Instead of $34.38, bet $35 etc so you look more “normal” and that you’re not arbing to the exact penny like these arb calculators have you do it.
      5. If you’re the type that live hedges a lot, with live bets to cover the outlay of your original bet. If possible, live hedge on a different book than where you placed the original pregame match. This one shouldn’t be as much of an issue. But oddly, there was a stretch where FanDuel limited my live betting only, only when I tried to hedge to cover a pregame match. It was almost like personalized limits, where it would limit me to possibly cover my outlay or less, but not hedge to lock in a profit. I gave the live hedging a rest and they eventually lifted my live hedging limit. It’s not the same as arbing, but it seems they can detect when you’re a frequent hedger and hedging on the same book with live bets on your pregame bets on that same book.
In terms of getting reversed, I think it just depends. I think it helps if you’re a VIP and you have a rep that understands you’re going to provide long term action, but even then sometimes you can’t and it’s out of their control. Fortunately doing this now for regularly for over a year and more diligently in recent months, the only place I’ve had some strict limits is BetRivers, on prop bets specifically. But still able to bet on their moneyline, spread, etc

Were you using rounded numbers? How can they know when you are arbing if you have to lose every time?
