Not gonna lie, I was a lil intimidated tearing my c2 down for the first time, and watched like 4 other videos before this that were of no help, but this vid was 100% on point and very helpful
Thanks for the video… it seems like a field strip cleaning. But I thought a deep cleaning would require frame disassembly, trigger mechanism cleaning, etc. Is there another video for Staccato C2 Deep cleaning?
It was my first time reassembling the C2 after deep cleaning. It was a pain in the butt to get that damn slide catch in. I think I figured out what I was doing wrong though, only took me about 40mins xD.
I struggled also. I found the maintenance 101 video by Staccato. More detail. Had I watched this video instead, I don’t think I would have struggled with the procedure.
I always lubricate the rails of the firearm before reassembly. Why do it after? Seems like applying lubrication after reassembly would miss the forward half of the frame and slide rails.

Watch maintenance 101 given by Staccato. More detail.
Wow, such a short gut informative and easy to follow video. Thank you.

Ordered my C2 last Friday
How long did yours take? Just ordered mine
I use this video every time. Thanks.
Every time?? Learn one do one teach one.

thank you!
Would this be the same procedure for the Staccato CS pistol?
All 2011 has similar procedures. The main difference between CS and C2 in field striping is the recoil system.
Super helpful
It was hard to catch in the video if you cleaned the recoil master and applied any lube. Can you address this in more detail.
Hello Tony, can you please make a video on how to remove the fixed sights on the staccato c2? It would be of great help.
Would soaking the frame in Dawn dish soap be ok?
NO!! Not unless you want to risk the frame and internal lock work. Gun solvents ONLY.
