Poor Yang Young Ja who lost twice at the WTTC World Singles event, 1983 and 1987. Yang also lost many international events to the Great Cao Yan Hua who was He Zhili's 大師姐. He Zhili was forced out of the Chinese National Team a year after this WTTC event. Without competing for about 5 years, she was almost 30 and represented Japan at the Asian Games. He Zhili took out the unbeatable Deng Yaping in 3 straight sets. He Zhili was one mighty TT player.

From an English magazine - when, before the semi-final of the 1987 World Cup, Zhang Xilin announced the federation's order to give the game to a partner in the national team with a fake motive that she supposedly had more chances in the final against a Korean, He Zhili bluntly refused and, with her superiority by 10 points against all contemporaries destroyed her opponent and then won the final without options. The rationale was that the champions were Peroviks to promote the superiority of the Chinese school. At the end of the World Cup, He Zhili announced that she was no longer playing for the national team and soon changed her citizenship to Japanese, becoming called Chire Koyama. She became the only athlete who went against the state system, even Wang Yu-Yuen, who was also 10 points stronger than his contemporaries, did not dare to take the indicated step.
