Cao Yan Hua is the greatest woman TT player ever. She won this 1983 World Championships. She repeated as the 1985 Women Singles Champion. However, Cao lost to Tong Ling in the 1981 Singles final by design. In China's domestic competitions, Tong Ling lost to Cao numerous times. Practically, Cao Yan Hua would have won 3 straight WTTC Singles. Also, I heard that her coaches also told her to lose to another Chinese player in the 1979 WTTC Singles.
