This video is of a John Deere mechanic doing my 100 hour service on my John Deere 2025r. Some camera angles aren't great as I didn't want to get into his way and slow him down while doing his job. There are some very helpful ways he goes about doing this service that I haven't seen on UA-cam before. Seems to be much easier the way he went about doing the service. It took him roughly 2 hours to complete the service and I was able to edit down to about half hour of video. I hope this is helpful and educates others on easier ways to do a service on their tractors. Thanks again for watching the channel.

So he didn't have take the hose clamps off the hydraulic line before taking screen out....seems like an easier way to do it...

Where did you get that step on the side? It looks like a Deere part. Good video, by the way.

      It’s the stock step on a 2025R.

It is stock, no upgrade, with the John Deere 2025R. Nice to have. When I have my mower deck on it is easy to get into the operator station without wanting to step on the mower deck.

That oil was not used, looked new. No hours.

Was just going by the dealers recommendation so there would be no issues with warranty. I agree. My new 3039r has the first oil change at 300 hours instead of 100 hours.

@@greentractortherapy1639 They may recommend the 100 hours to keep the shavings away from the flex plate and such. A lot o' times factory parts aren't de-burred before they are shipped from the manufacturer. I reckon the closer market shakeups loom the quicker they want to get their tractors sold to dealers, hence the more 💩one gets in their engine. Hyundai, for example, is infamous for that behavior.
