The coolest thing i’ve heard in a long time.
Robert Plant has three brilliant solo musicians supporting him and a rhythm section, although unknown to me, as good as it gets. I can't tell you how happy I am that Robert Plant's voice is still strong and is still being heard.
Seriously, Patty Griffin, Buddy Miller and Darrell Scott as Supporting Musicians? Plant is brilliant. What else could he possibly ask for but a brilliant band.
Give Robert a break. He's 70 something. You all expect him to hit the same high notes he did 40 years ago. Ain't gonna happen. He has to compensate for time so he takes HIS song and reinvents it. At least he's not trying to hit the high notes and fail. I like this arrangement just fine. It's not the same, but the crowd doesn't seem to care. They know they are in the presence of music greatness. Robert is doing it his way, not the same old way. I applaud him for that.
One of the flat out most cool performances ever - simple mature version of a great song!
I like it, kinda cool for us older peeps! The orginal is still the best, cause that is what we are used to......so it's all good.
This is awesome!
Bob can do anything...
Thumbs up for her outfit.
Robert.. Blues on....!!
The rock robert and patty.
Black Dog is an amazingly difficult time-signature to play. I guess that's why they didn't play Black Dog.
love it an patti sexy singer wow great band
Sounded like Long Cool One.
I do like this version. Who is her?
I thought the singer was great and I loved her in Seinfeld 😉 absolute double
I have to say I Like it,,,love the original but this is not bad...I think the girls feet must be glued to the floor...I wish she wasn't singing so loud tho
Jukebox!?
Jury is out on this one. The original was great. This sounds like a few other songs so too same. Not sure
Pl give her a break .. she sang in the higher pitch for this song.
I thought Plant once said he could never see himself singing song again. (As in being to old.)
hot lady, she is grrrrrrr
Hmmmm............
Maybe its better than the original one I think
Without Buddy Miller and Patty Griffin Band of Joy would've neeeeeeevvvverrr happened. So show some appreciation all of you tired, Classic Rock, motherfuckers.
She dances really weird... Something's wrong lol Btw... I really like that version of Black Dog :)
WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED
Iugh......
No its not.Its a great version of a great song.Played by mature musicians.
OLD
The female vocals *really* ruin this, in particular the verses. Interesting arrangement though.
Mas viejo pero igual de pato XD
This is ok but original was better ##doublehashtag
Nah not for me i preferred the original version...
I'm sorry I've been a huge Led Zeppelin fan my whole life, and although its very good musicianship, it's a DISGRACE to the original track!!! Yes we've all gotten older, but be real, if you heard this and didn't know who it was , you'd probably never listen to it again. For someone who said that he wont tour with Zeppelin because he didn't want to be part of some jukebox, hes doing a pretty good job of being a jukebox performer! In my opinion he's let down millions of fans for his own ego! Not to mention that he sold his rights to the led zeppelin catalogue to Jimmy Page, so why promote the the greatest band ever with a tour...I'm just saying...
Music isn't sacred
I don't care who it is that's singing this --- this is a travesty.
Way to ruin a great song
So sad how plant lost his voice pretty much
Not really, artistic embellishment is different than losing your voice. Of course, most don't pay attention to his career enough to know shit anyway.
Absolutely horrible! A disgrace to the song!
