probably the only fps game where you reload like a fudd at the range, which is perfectly realistic for a hunting game
It's definitely an old man game. Something that rich retired boomers can sink a shitton of money into
@The-Real-Yakub it's not even expensive. I recently bought it with all DLCs for around 30. It's kinda chill after work
@@The-Real-Yakubnah it's pretty cheap, surprisingly fun to hop onto with a couple buddies
@@jungleblobs5225 Not if you want all the guns, tools, and maps. That sould've just been free updates instead you have to pay for it.
@@halo48189It's not that bad. Gun packs are like 4 bucks and maps are like 10 bucks. You'd pay more for a burger meal at a fast food joint 😂
Mfs are gonna wonder why the animations for a hunting game are so slow.
Yea 😂
Could be suitable for survival horror game or some kind of "into the dead" inspired game
I mean it's a chilling hunting game so yeah
"Mfs"?
@@homelander.879 short for motherfuckers
I like that they included a 10mm glock in this. That's what everyone carries in rural areas where you have to worry about bears and whatnot
I love my Glock Model 40 for just that reason.
I have a GP100 in .357 mag
@@voltekthecyborg7898 another great choice.
@@Rcassidygaming I don't have a gun cause I'm normal!!
@@bananerna2601 That depends, are you European, Canadian, Latin or South American? Then yes, that's normal. If you're an American, it's not.
These are the best animations I’ve ever seen from a hunting game. Notice how the normal Garand animations has the player character hold the bolt open with their palms.
garands, especially older ones sometimes don’t shut. you really expect an over 50 year old gun to function perfectly?
@@Gherkins upon rewatching the Garand’s animations around 5 times, it seems the player character does a technique that would actually cause the bolt to stay open, no matter the weapon’s condition.
@@better-shotgun1686 yeah i think he’s keeping it open with the palm of his hand. either way my statement is true!
@Gherkins I know I'm a bit late. To comment but. I also noticed that there's no pine sound When you reload the M1 grand. When the last run is fired a It would inject the whole clip. Would make that distinctive ping sound? It is weird that when the? This M1 grand does not make a ping sound.
@@Footting1212 the garand doesn’t make the ping noise when taking it out for a partial reload, only when completely emptying the clip, will it make the ping.
SAA reload is fantasticly detailed
Why didn’t they load all six?
@@Toneill029it’s called cowboy loading because they used to do that in the old west with old SAA revolvers, they purposely skip one because that was essentially their “safey” also because the old SAA revolvers weren’t exactly all that safe either, that’s the basics of it, there’s a whole lot more to it but on a modern SAA reproduction you probably don’t need to do it
@Toneill029 The hammer would have been sitting on a live cartridge. Any jostling and now there's a new hole where there shouldn't be.
@@maxharter5716Alec Baldwin’s defense.
check out the game Isonzo's revolver reload animations. you'd love them
POV me reloading all my guns after I make an entire herd of bison go extinct

Me looking for that same deer for 30 minutes be like: Oh I should have shot him in the heart
Other games : OVER THE TOP TACTICAL RELOAD
this game : how most normal people reaload
Have you even played Pathologic 2?
Because you are normal people in this game
you say that as if you’re not playing as a military operative in other games and a civilian hunter in this
I mean normal. People reload at least a little bit faster
@@vast9467a guy that hunts civilians or somthing else
1:14 YES! For the love of god ive been waiting for a game that actually features the Cowboy Reload, the REAL way to reload a Single Action Revolver
Why does the person not put in all of the cartridges when reloading it?
@@QuadViewOn older single action revolvers, there’s a risk of negligent discharge if you fully load them, due to the sixth round sitting directly under the hammer.
@@QuadView On original SAAs there is nothing stopping the hammer from touching the hammer while it sits uncocked so the gun can discharge in the event of it dropping - or even if your hand bumps into it funny.
fallout new vegas??
fist full of frags
I like how there are alot of guns that you never really see in games, really interesting to see civilian / hunting weapons portrayed like this
i can just hear looking at the scenery "Hickock 45 here on a BEAUTIFUL Tennessee sunny day on the range this evening. Were gonna take a few shots here with some notable common hunting firearms. Some of which you might recognize from one form of media or another. we got some targets set out here, But first, we would like to thank the good folks at buds gunshop for lending us a few of these rifles and pistols and another thanks to FEDERAL ammunition. Alright lets get started first by SMOKING SOME POT"
Accurate. You get a like sir
the Colt SAA underloads at 5 rounds for safety IRL. that is if my memory serves me correctly. also, everyone who says "reloads are slow af": this ain't a tactical shooter! this is a hunting game! reloading is slow because it balances the gameplay and gives you the idea that you aren't just carelessly dumping your magazines on the ground.
You’re correct. It sometimes goes by ‘cowboy load’ as it was the safest way to carry an SAA in the old west
Nice pfp
@@Whiskey-cr9dq on h3vr, if you don't do the cowboy load, it will sometimes go off when you grab it from the holster.
@@Kiryugaming486same goes to you

This game actually got me into real hunting... If I'm going to walk around the woods not seeing any animals to shoot I may as well get some exercise while I'm at it
i usually just sit in a tree or a stand for 3-4 hours and enjoy the quiet
and maybe if im lucky something will walk by
@@vladimirdragonov I haven't gotten to deer yet, just small game so far. Hoping this year will be the year for deer. Also I really hope you mean in real life cause sitting for 3-4 hours staring at cartoon trees would make you a psychopath in my book
@@kylemarkloff4451 yes in real life though I found that strategy also works in game.
Just use calls and keep a look out.
Or watch UA-cam and check your screen every now and then
It’s a nice touch that they use moon clips on some of the revolvers
Don't see moon clips very often in video games
@@Calvin_Coolageeven then most ive seen is half moon clips for the m1917 revolver
God i love the caplock reloads
Best believe if I played this game that I’d be using that Colt SAA and Winchester 1897.
You probably won’t want to they both come from a DLC and the colt SAA is the worst gun in the game
DLC and yje 1897 is locked behind a mission
I like how on the Garand they show it using a 5 round hunting clip.
7:25 I like the slight struggle.
i love the little tug on the magazine after seating it in the AR-15s, such a nice touch
Especially since it ensures the magazines in place and not loose yea, that is a great touch
素早いタクティカルリロードもかっこいいけど、この遅い堅実的なリロードが好き。
Excellent showcase as usual
it's funny that even here, in a game in which you can chill and take your time reloading, that Hudzik caplock reloads way quicker than IRL: no short starting, powder straight from the horn without any measure, not even half cocking the hammer
invention of a cartridge was fucking amazing
I mean. You still need it to be fun lol.
There's no justification for making a 1:1 realistic reload unless it's a game where you live in the 1700s even then it's ill-advised.
Feeling real :😊
Actually real : I hate my life 😭
@@craig2196 of course, i totally agree that this is better than historical reloading
I just wanted to point out that it's amazing how much invention od cartridge have us
What I love most about these reloads is that the first initial reload of every gun is a slow double checking to make sure you hit the right spot when they put the ammo cautious reload and then they show a speed reload which shows that they’ve mastered the weapon
I like how the character is being "inexperienced" to guns reload and being slow, then in the next clip with the same gun they're "experienced" and reload much faster. Pretty neat thing, almost like an irl detail, you're inexperienced to what you gotta do, use it more often, get more experienced with it and your doing things much faster than before
I like it when a shot is fired, you can hear the bullet echoing as it travels to its target
The accuracy to reloading speed and realism, detail of different gun makes, models and types of gun for a game is impressive. People can use this as a basic guide for many different gun configurations for basic loading and unloading.
I don't know why the revolver animations are so satisfying.
Not bad animations for the animal hunter level.
you can see that the primer has been hit when reloading those single shot rifles, neat!
4:54 , I like the fact that he pull the mag down to check if it won't fall off
Hi!!
I appreciate that you show the reload without a wasted mag dump into a tree before hand!! You're the first to do so!! Awesome animation, slick and grounding. Guns are powerful tools, not godlike abilities, folks!
Take time to make it right, make it clean. You're taking a life with this. Respect it.
are you talking about videos that show what the gun looks like firing?
Even for an 1890's era Mosin, that Mosin is cursed. TEENY TINY boolets and the rear site looks hammered on.
Cool
Inaccuracies that I can spot:
1. The drilling doesn’t seem to have working extractors
2. There are a lot of weapons don’t seem to chamber a round
3. The rounds in the Garand’s en-bloc clip seem stable despite only holding ~4 rounds instead of 8
3.5. The normal Garand reloads require the player character to hit the bolt instead of automatically closing (upon closer inspection, it seems the normal animations uses a technique that would require the hit of the bolt. The Garand also seems too skinny.)
4. The .22 pistol can’t make up its mind if it wants to lock back or not
5. It seems the animation sets the SAA to full-cock instead of half-cock
The ones beyond here are nitpicks
6. The mag and bolt release don’t seem to move on AR-15 rifles
7. Lee-Enfield magazines are hard to remove (this comes from personal experience using both a ww1-era and a ww2-era Canadian Lee-Enfield)
8. That mag toss reload is awesome, but unnecessary and could potentially cause the loss of a magazine
9. The SAA only loads in 5 rounds instead of 6
They make 4 round clips for hunting.
@@SpacecowboyCarl Im sure hunting purposes make things minimal.
@@ZEROxDEADDEAD Notice how I put it as a nitpick. the weapon, obviously, can’t accidentally go off due to being in a game.
@@better-shotgun1686
The SAA one are following thing call Cowboy load
@@better-shotgun1686 Anime pfp acting like a gun expert when google searches, how to manuals and demo videos exist... yes, I believe you entirely.
Nice one on the SAA
Those musket reloads were actually fantastic.
Finally Sako TRG 42 in a game.
These like backyard shooting gun reloading
Man these animations are so beautiful for a hunting game
Reminds me of Farah's reloads in MW2019
bro is using the force on the db
They actually do a cowboy load on the SAA (living one cylinder empty to prevent accidental discharge while holstered.)
Drilling Rifle my be loved
Absolutely
the fucking cowboy load on the SAA got me
Dude, these animations are STELLAR.
I love how majority of the reloads have 2 different animations the slower one is either inexperienced or cautious like with the muzzleloaders they carefully pull the rod and carefully pound the bullet in, same for the ARs they put the magazine in, slightly fumble the magazine give it a small pull to make sure the magazine is secured, while the more experienced/speed loader animations are more confident with the firearm, it's a small detail but a great one and not seen in alot of games.
this game is great, highly recommend to anyone as a relaxing time killer
I love that, because it’s not a competitive bang bang game, they can actually take their time to do detailed, relatively accurate reloads.
Aren't you the guy that unalived 27 children in Afghanistan?
These are some of the most detailed reload animations I’ve seen, maybe except for the garand
This is the only game where slow, languid reload animations make sense. I feel like the animators for this game also worked on Insurgency Sandstorm
They look so floaty and weightless
Half of these animations are me going either:
Slow makes sense.
"YOU'RE NOT GOING INTO ACTIVE COMBAT."
Does anyone had a clip of IRL hunting that use black powder rifle? Legit look cool.
The AR-15 animations look so weird, that struggle to get the mag in, then that akward pull after you just pushed it in. Also the .22LR versian has the exact same magazine as the regular 5.56 lol
THE ANIMATOR IS COOKING WITH THIS ONE 🗣
sometimes we need to slow a little bit
yeah, mag dump, fast reloads and fancy stuff is cool but, is more relaxin' watching a normal guy reloading a modern musket
Wth these animations are clean af also this is a better example of how to handle your guns hunting or not.
Interesting way to load a muzzleloader.
They're putting the wad behind the ball, which by my common sense still makes for a tight enough fit, so the bullet doesn't just fall out.
I know the animations aren't great, but in a way, its heartwarming.
The comments show how many people dont hunt
Kind of surprised by the quality of the animation going on here. They're all pretty great, Garand is a little weird though?
Not really. Those are 5 round clips specifically made for hunting. Other than that it's a regular M1 with smaller clips.
Where’s drone strike for deer hunting I’m still waiting on that update
Ahí 2 armas que son de idéntico modelo y textura en el Generation Zero: El Meusser 7:10 y el Älgstudsare 7:22.
Also one of the pump action shotguns
Calm reloads because they dont have some DNR guy asking about their tags every 10mins
hunting with a musket gotta be the funniest shit iv ever seen
Some states have black-powder-only seasons, actually. So it's not entirely inappropriate
there's separate muzzleloader seasons for hunting irl and there's actually some decent and reasonable modernized muzzleloaders to use these days
@@J_Pawsadas-PTSDEnjoyerand there is old ones too that get some impressive range and accuracy for the time

What’s the break action muzzle loader and 16 gauge pump from
not gonna lie i think this is one of the more realistic reloads i've seen in any fps game, at least the style of it, how the arms moves and stuff clearly shows this isn't some extensively trained person, just your country hunter.
Game dev try not to reload all revolvers with moonclips challenge level impossible:
Only putting five in the single action army is some fudd shit.
It bothers me that the AR-15s bolt releases are buttons
Not a lot of games that actually have your character reload like they've never done it before... only other one I can think of is Modern Warfare.
Surprising how unfudd-like the magazine fed bolt action reloads are
the reload animation remind me of HUNT SHOWDOWN. where they reload everything slow as how normal person would reload
These reloads did not need to go so fucking hard.

*THA MOIST NUGGET!!!*
Whatever happened to the individual bullet loading on double action revolvers?
They just recently updated it because players wanted it to be quicker
@@julianortiz7111 I prefer how it was before. It's just a hunting game it's not like it's run and gun or something lol.
Maybe if they just made the speedloaders like a skill upgrade or something.
I’d get myself a speedloader too if I hunted with a revolver
@@JackFoxtrotEDM The issue is that I as a player tend towards using them for defense against predators, and when there's a pack of 6 wolves attacking, it is really really painful to die over the reload animation.
@@bandanimals3710 Heh, fair enough. Still, could make more sense an an upgrade.
Guns look amazing, reload animations look like GTA V animations but slowed down 300%
The most realistic and good-looking reloads come from a hunting game. What has the world came to
It's almost like a simulation game has different goals and focus then the arcade nature of fictional action shooters.
Poor guy living in Canada with low cap mags
These are actually really good, wtf? Detailed in how slow and deliberate they are, given this is just someone hunting and not in combat.
the sound designs are better than the animations
why is there a gun named after rivers cuomo in this game
when the hell did they add a glock
These look interesting… . How’s this a hunting game?
Do all hunting games have slow reloads?
That muzzleloader one annoys the hell out of me.... there are quickloaders for a reason you don't pour in from a powder horn
Although the reload animations are not the best, but the sound andrecoil performance isexcellent

It always tick me off to see Video game "Realistic" Guns means shiny, brand new.
who brings a cap & ball rifle to modern day hunting?
I'm impressed by a few things in this demo. First being that they close the double-action revolver cylinders correctly and not slamming them closed like a cave man.
Second is the inclusion of real world hunting rifles in configurations you'd actually see out in the real world. Sakos, Remingtons, Tikka, and even Weatherby. Super neat!
are all of these weapons dlcs? including the M1 Garand?
