Your video was very informative! Thank you so much. I'm looking into cruising solo for the first time. I never sailed NCL,I love the fact that they have Solo Packages. I live in Dallas, I will definitely look into sailing out of Galveston. I did sail out of New Orleans with Carnival. That was a fun time, especially sailing with a group. The camera you have is excellent! I'm getting one! New Subcriber here! I'm sold!
We liked it a lot tho we felt the Atrium felt a little cramped. We also thought the ship was like a cross between Jewel-class ships and Breakaway-plus ships
I like how they have the pictures of the food as well and I’m curious so what is up with the sold out beverages so does that mean they make a batch of those drinks and put it in a dispenser that keeps track of the numbers in it that’s how they do it so the drinks aren’t made fresh ???
OMG I am thinking about solo cruising but there prices is double for solos. I have never solo traveled. Were you nervous? Did you pay double since it’s only you?
Hi there, this was my third solo cruise. I was slightly nervous the first time I cruised solo but quickly got over the anxiety after I started feeling more comfortable on the ship. I did pay double for this cabin but NCL and I think Royal Caribbean, newer MSC ships and Celebrity have solo cabins where you don’t have to pay the solo supplement. And sometimes cruises have deals where there is no solo supplement. I have sailed in a solo cabin with NCL and it was great.
@thesometimessolotraveler I may book the ocean cabin when I go on Virgin Voyages in Dec to see if I like it. Your room looked spacious. Looking forward to more of your videos.
That’s the beauty of UA-cam. You can choose what to watch and not watch. A lot of people like to see the food, if the food is good, how it looks, and the cruise menus.

I like how they had the menu on the tablet so you can see the food before choosing what to eat but too many of the drinks were sold out o.O
I noticed that too but after I looked again, they were drink specials for specific days of the week. So the banana drink was only for Fridays.

I love cruising with ncl. I like the solo cabins and the balcony cabins. I don't like the inside cabins.
I was pleasantly surprised by the ocean view cabin.
