Wow what a transformation great work. I have seen some other restoration channels but some of them still leave rust in the screw and pin holes. You get everything clean and rust free then blued really well. Great detail and clean job. 👍
Hi Brandon , they say you should learn something new every day , today I learnt from you the use of cable ties to protect the metal surface of the weapon while you were disassembling , very clever indeed , another wonderful restoration and fine marksmanship as always , take care guys .
Yeah same, it's a nice trick... I would not use for weapon for sure (because it's hard and expensive to get the license here in my country), but sure the trick could be applied to many other stuff...
Your anticipating recoil, each time the gun ran dry and you pulled the trigger the gun moved forward. It's a common thing and easy enough to solve. Big fan of the old FN stuff, thanks for saving this one!
For all those cheering here... These videos are a big scam. These guns are sprayed with "OWATROL RUST SPIRIT" and then cleaned... Different weapons, still the same rust. Are you really that stupid?
as a collector of ww2 firearms this has to be one of my favorite firearms of that era all my guns are in alot better condition n watching these videos makes me greatful for the guns i do have because many of them turned out rust buckets im glad to see someone out here restoring the classics that were lost to time keep it up
Where do the firearms that you restore come from? You have access to so many rusty hunks of metal that you somehow turn into working firearms!! I love watching your process.
Online auctions, estate sales, friends, customers, subscribers and a few magnet fishing! Thank you for the kind words and for watching we appreciate it!
Another great restoration, i love the gun you choose . Great gun of ww2.....one missed.....the luger p08....😊....thanks for all, so happy to see the next video...❤
Thanks for saving this one, seeing it all rusted up was making my heart ache, since I use a Model 1922 as my carry pistol. They are great little pistols, and as this video demonstrated, quite accurate as well. I bought mine back in 2018 at a local pawn shop, she's old, but in good shape and has seen nowhere near as much trouble as the one in your video. Best I can tell, mine is an early post-war civilian production model.
The Spanish Astra and the French Mab Model D were similar pistol designs at the time but the Browning Hi Power was an epoch-making invention from the Belgian side, which was not used for a long time
🍁I love the work that goes into your restorations I would never question how the guns came into the conditions that they were found.i hate seeing negative feedback. Keep up the great content.
Another fantastic restoration, Thought the barrel was looking good til after, bit of a shame it had that condition issue. Other wise well done, another one not lost and preserved for history. 👍👍
Great job - as always! And that, by the way, was a very clever use of zip ties! I'm going to... steal it and use it in my DIY projects! 🙂 As you were putting the gun together, I caught myself wondering if the feed ramp wouldn't benefit by polishing some of that rust pitting away. Might have made for smoother feeding. Thanks for saving yet another piece of arms history.
Absolutely amazing, very clever use of zip ties. I'm worried about shooting mine, but it is not as bad as this one was. By the way, the reason for the shroud extension is earlier models had shorter barrels. Rather than make a longer slide shroud, they just made an extension. At least that's what I read.
Je restaure de petites motos et l'ennemi est la rouille. Vous m'avez fait découvrir des techniques pour m'en débarrasser. J'ai aussi bien apprécié l'emploi de colliers Rilsan pour éviter de marquer les pièces avec des outils. Merci beaucoup.
It looks great and you did a great job restoring it! today i learned from you how to use cable ties to protect the metal surface of your weapon when you disassemble, really clever, great restoration and marksmanship as always,
A variant of the Model 1910 was known variously as the Model 1922 or 1910/22. This was a larger model with a longer barrel (113 mm), slide extension, and a longer grip frame to accommodate an extra two rounds. This model was aimed at military and police contracts and many examples were produced for various agencies. The FN Model 1910 was initially designed for the Kingdom of Serbia
I am sorry these guys have to show proof their firearms condition is natural. When the internals are as bad as the exterior it is evident to be natural rust.
@@TheKinzlerBros I appreciate y’all’s work. You complete restorations correctly and safely for the firearm unlike rusty restorations and some others. Backyard ballistics is another good one. Also, question; Have you tried using high grit sandpaper/ steel wool to the metal prior to sandblasting to clean up the metal? I’m curious if it would work.

I like this pistol. Very simple design, clearly not a German design, or else it'd have 3 times as many parts. lol! What do you do with your bluing solution after you use it? Can you store it for re-use or do you discard it? How do you dispose of it? Just curious.
I know right! After we use it we store it in 5 gallon buckets and you can reuse it but, we don't because its a couple of weeks in between using it again. We neutralize it then its ok to get rid of. Thanks for watching
It's always a pleasure to see another piece of history preserved for future generations.
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
I appreciate kinzler bros for taking their time to respond to every comment, whether it’s positive or negative.

Perfect job, awesome restauration.

Just wondering if you blued several times, would you wind up with a better finish, and more shine/luster.
No not really and for it to shine, you have to buff it before bluing! Thanks for watching
Great job. Thank you for uploading.

Very nice, as always ! Just wondering what would be your course of action in case the gun is loaded ? Thanks you for the content !
Thanks we appreciate it, you would try to get it ejected first and if seized then put it in evaporust, so you can get it out after 10 hours or so.
@@TheKinzlerBros Thank you for the answer ! Much appreciated. Keep up the good work ! I enjoyed every video I watched as of now ! :)
