This is a cool remake of Alien Syndrome that was released as part of the Sega Ages 2500 Series for the PS2, which consisted of classic games from Sega receiving modern remakes or ports. It was also included in Sega Classic Collection that was released in America, but the compilation only has a couple of those games. 00:00 Intro 00:21 Asophy 01:33 Hugger 02:57 Tacapy 04:19 Minnow 05:52 Yocotie 07:43 Minenor 09:25 Haggah (Final Boss)
Yeah, this one was a nice remake; bosses like Hugger really hit the horror aesthetic well. And I think I’ve seen someone else cover this game too (either Shadowserg or Gellot), and the time limits were pretty crazy; you did great.
This is a remake that I'd say aged like fine wine. Not only is it given a horror movie coat of paint which fits the game well, it brings in the right quality of life updates to keep the game challenging while not making it as stressful as the original (Cough cough 360 Degree Control and Health Bars.)
The first two bosses names are mixed up, hugger is that Worm boss, in the original game Hugger look like a human Heart and was the boss of the second round, don't know why they switched places

It carries horror movies helped by the soundtrack. Really fits the game to a T.
