    Hi, ik bestelde eens een vega mousaka, via thuisbezorgd in Noord Brabant, en die was verrukkelijk, zaten tuinerwtjes en wortel in. 👋😀

    In Greece we make Mousaka with meat (beef). The oregano goes in the meat. The sliced potatoes are so thin they don't need to be pre-cooked. They absorb the juices of the meat sauce and aubergine. We season the first layer which is potatoes,add the fried aubergine which are also richly seasoned, then the cooked minced meat and the final aubergine layer topped with the Bechamel sauce with seasoned bread crumbs. For additional taste I put cheese between the layers or in the Bechamel sauce. I cook the Mousaka at least 45 minutes - 1 hour. I also cook the minsed meat 1 hour. For the Bechamel I add warm milk to promote quicker smoothness.

      Sounds lovely! Since this is the vegan version of moussaka we had to adjust the recipe, but we are sure that your version is very delicious as well! 💙

    Türkiye'de Musakka, çok popüler bir yemektir ve çok sık pişirilir. Tabiki de biz Türk usulüyle ve daha lezzetli bir şekilde pişiriyoruz. 😉🤗
    In Turkije is Moussaka een zeer populair gerecht en wordt heel vaak gekookt. Natuurlijk koken we het op Turkse style en op een meer heerlijke manier. 😉🤗
