I don't have any flexibility on my left foot, and i have numbness on my left side. Could be a s1 root damage??

S1 will give you weakness pointing toes (plantar flexion) and turning your foot outwards (eversion) rather than lack of flexibility - regards JG

      IMPRESSION:
      1. L5-S1 intervertebral disc narrowing and spondylosis.
      2. Lower lumbar facet joint degeneration.
This impression note was on my x ray. How bad is this and could be the reason for my not flexibility on my left foot?

I fell sitting down and fractured my left ankle last year and I have had two surgeries on my ankle, one for arthrodesis and another for ligament repair and my foot still cannot walk on tiptoe and on my heels.
