When you switch to the shot in your computer room what a lovely atmospheric shot and background. All of your framing and shots have a dreamy feel to them
What if I leave the Rode NTG permanently connected to my computer via USB? Will that degrade the NTG battery? I assume it will because my computer is on all day when I work and it'll probably trickle charge the NTG battery, just like when you leave a laptop connected to the wall socket. I'm hoping this isn't the case though, hence why I'm asking.
Did anyone else feel like the Micro did better at the torture test than any of the other mics, or is it just me? Seems a strange result but that's what I heard?
Absolutely wonderful review. I will be getting one for my travels. Thank You very much for this video. I do play around with a lot of mics Rode, Marshall (one of my fav-studio stuff), Neumann (another fav), SE, Slate, AKG, Nuance, Blue, blah blah blah but I have not gotten the chance to know this one yet. I need something small, compact, phone/PC happy, and professional. Thank You again this will be the one :)
Thanks Blunty, although we do ear all the background noise, this is in fact a very good example of what people will ear wend they use these microphones outside in the real world so..... very good movie and also a good comparison between mics. Thank you.

Great video Blunty, that mic sounds, and looks awesome!. RODE just keeps killing it with their audio tech
Great point about how most people watch videos on their phone, so top video resolution shouldn't be the #1 concern
I appreciate you getting up and out so early in the morning to film this for us. How do I have a clear idea on the time? The audio quality.
Great review of the microphone. I like how you did the sound tests on that bridge. It really showcases the audio that it can capture.
Wow this mic is versatile! Was gonna save up for an SM7B, but this does everything else for much less. I’m sold!
Thank you Blunty, I always appreciate your reviews on stuff.
Great video, mate. Thanks for taking the time to make it. The RODE sounds fantastic.
Fantastic and informative. Great presentation & voice modulation. Love how you are so animated and passionate
Great comparison. Thanks!
Have one on order for Zooming in the isolation era. Your review is well done.

Great to say an Australian doing a review of gear I'm considering. It shouldn't matter but....it does.
Good, USB type C. Rode isn't one of the terrible companies keeping micro USB alive. 👍
"The goodie stuff" Lol ;-) Thanks for the giggle.

Yeah the Rode on the final test had a weird hiss.
perfect . thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the info! I'm still getting my sound dialed in and this was very helpful!
Not having to deal with the hassle of matching the microphone to the correct TRS or TRRS ports without adapters is worth it.
This mic is a WINNER! I have it and it is the Bomb!
Great video blunty
Love your videos!
What camera were you using?
GH5.
@@BluntyTV Does the GH5 support streaming what its recording while it's plugged in to an external power?
ballsy intro man lol. great video
Great video! Will use your affiliate link!
Very well put (me listening on earbuds). Not quite ready for the VMNT I think, but the micro may be the best bet for a beginner on a SONY RX 100 M7?
Oddly... this has become my fav video of yours...
I don't even have a camera yet feel like buying that rode mic :D what have you done to my mind
Wait! That was far away! What the? Now that is a mic.
I'll have to look into getting one for my osmo setup
Wish I had the time, talent, and motivation to take advantage of your advice in this video.
This is a nice mic. which my camera had a headphone jack or shoe to mount it.
Ridiculously costly too!
