    Just fitted this lock (first go at fitting a lock). I too have a door with hinges on the right when looking at it from outside. Not sure what I've done wrong but I can only turn key anti clockwise to unlock outside... and when opening from inside I have to turn bolt clockwise (upward) once the auto deadlock is enabled. Trust me to make a balls up.

    Hi... I've just fitted one of these and I really have to slam the door to shut it where yours just shuts with a click... any idea where i have gone wrong? thanks in advance

      put some white grease on the latch

      The surface of the latch is very rough on brand new ones. Over a few months it will start to become polished/smooth and will be alot better.

      Yes you can. 2 small screws on the back and you can change the cylinder for another Yale or similar.

    You lot just do not get it ? like me hes a locksmith trying to generate more work its not a free advice or a how to fit a Yale lock forum
    ....jokers.... call a locksmith ...
