I worked in the quality department at Growler for six years and personally drove everyone of the 500 units built. A majority of the parts are off shelf modified for the application. Diffs are modified Ford excursion and the axles are modified for the CTIS . Chevy 4L60 trans, Dodge transfer case mounted by adapter plate to a International Brazilian build diesel. Frame was built in Forest Virginia at S E & M. The vehicles were assembled in Robbins N. Carolina.
You got a box of parts? Lucky you because that is not normal. That Growler may be neat but I prefer my HEMTT M985 and it cost me less that that did you. Licensing on those will depend on the state as many states will not. If your state will register UTVs for street use you can probably register a Growler.
I just bought one and was delivered today. It doesn't drive but put 2 new batteries in it and started right up. Mine cost $5500. Master cylinder is gone. Can we talk?
Thank you for the information...Is too risky buy one of them, especially if you can not make street legal. To bad for me...I really love this kind of vehicles.

Good informational video, I keep hearing things that you have to wait months to get the vehicle after you win the auction
Yes, I think it can be pretty variable unfortunately.
Did you get to DMV yet? Also, have you had any luck with oil filter?
Yes, I was able to get it registered and plated with almost no issues. Might have been luck however. lol

How long did it take you to get buying privileges?

Yes, I think if I lived in California I might hold off on purchasing one as well.
The 150k isn’t credit that’s a cap for your account every account has a 150k cap
I see. That makes a lot more sense! LOL
You won the bid for the growler for over $30,000 and they wanted 20% in fee's.... jeez thats too much money for me
I agree! I almost considered paying the 10% penalty for not completing the purchase. Overall, glad I bought it though.
Too painful to watch.
