My best friend when I was in elementary school was Palestinian. She and her little brother who looked like the boy from home alone were so cheerful and friendly. They always shared their sweets with me. I remember once when she opened her lunchbox bag we saw a paper. I asked her what that was. And she said her mom writes her nice things every day. I was so envious of that. Their really hardworking kind people. I think that was back in the early 2000s. I would never ever understand people who say they have anything to do with terror. If angels were humans then they'll probably take their form. Truly beautiful people from the inside out.

Further information came out she was being treated in a hospital in Gaza, then we had Hamas and the 40 beheaded babies....it's all wording and horrible imagery they use in propaganda, normally rape, babies and beheading are the top for this kind of horrific shock value for emotional response.....then the retaliation with them using the right to respond in defence.

Although it might have started as a civil war, it long ago became a proxy war between, on one side the U.S., Israel, Saudi Arabia and Qatar (who use Sunni ISIS and Al Nusra (Al Qaida) forces as their mercenaries), and on the other side Russia, Syria, Iran, Hezbollah (who use Shiite militias). Yes, the U.S. is NOT fighting ISIS. Instead, the U.S. is the indirect ally and arm supplier of ISIS. And then there is the war between Turkey and the Kurds. The true reasons behind this proxy war are: (1) Israel's desire to get rid of and break up Syria; (2) Saudi Arabia's ongoing religious conflict with Iran; (3) Saudi and Qatar attempts to preclude the construction of a pipeline that would take Iran oil and gas through Syria. Once you understand the true nature of this conflict, you will understand the actions of Russia and the Syrian government. You will also understand the bullshit lies told by the corporate media.

What difference does your ethnicity have on the facts? The fact is that the NeoCons have called for "regime change" in Syria since the 1990s. RFK Jr. wrote a great article recently on how Assad refusing to sign on for a pipeline from Saudi Arabia was his death warrant.
I do not see Assad as a "good guy." He was Bush II"s partner in our Global War OF Terror, even hosting one of our "black sites" where he'd torture terrorists for CIA.
There were (and are) honorable opposition groups in Syria. They're not the ones the US, Great Britain, Saudi Arabia and Qatar have been funding, arming and training since 2010.
