As an Ulster Scot providing his 2 cents, This is very well done capturing the very real of the moment. I would encourage you to pursue this line of playing as it attracts my attention but not might be what will provide you fame.
Beautiful. Good to hear just the whistle as it is, without the piano in the background. I'm planning to buy this instrument and I want to hear it simply on its own because that's how I'll be playing it:)
The fife isn’t too difficult. I taught myself using an old manual from the 1600s and a fingering chart. I was already a trained woodwind player when I did it, but it wasn’t too hard. Remember, the army had to train men and boys to do it who probably had zero musical experience whatsoever, and they succeeded.
The battle of Aughrim was one of the most famous battles in Irish history near the end of the 17th century, from which the poem The Bridge of Athlone was written.
As "The World's Most Mediocre Tin Whistle Player" I thank you for providing me a good model to really learn this tune
Gorgeous. Beautifully done ❤.
Thank you for posting this. I'm familiar with the John Renbourne arrangement & have been learning to play it on my fiddle. :)
Beautifully played, thanks for posting this :)

I like the sound of that. Nice playing too.
I like to play Marching music, i feel a special predilection for that. Shame still I can't to learn to play the fife.
