- There's four or five neighborhoods that are shaping the "New Orlando". From Saint Cloud, to Downtown Orlando and Clermont. Today we talk about where they are and how to take advantage in this market.

I live in Lake Nona, and we thought about moving to Clermont, but Lake Nona is so close to the airport its just a dream location.
Lake Nona’s location is pretty choice! Glad you’re loving life there.
Traffic is obscenely impossible. It’s so bad! Completely a turn off.

As an Orlando native, all of this development makes me so sad, I loved the country being 20 min away, now it’s 30 min away and soon it will be 45 min away :(

Unfortunately, more housing is desperately needed right now.
We need less mc mansions and more dense mixed zoning housing 🤷♂️ redevelop urban area and save our nature area. Most newcomers to our state don’t appreciate our natural wonders
I love Orlando, I grew up the majority of my life here..since 1987. As much I think it's really cool the city is growing and these cool communities are being built, it becoming less and less for me. Transportation infrastructure is way behind in relation of the influx of people moving here.
I will mostly keep my house and eventually turn it into a Vrbo or ABNB, but as a forever home..I want land, near the mountains and a small community.

Great video, but St. Cloud and Lake County developments are outside of Orlando area.
Man sunbridge would have so many more eyes I feel like if they didn’t go with the idea of wood framed only houses especially when you have lake Nona across the street that doesn’t… I absolutely love how sunbridge is looking and even under contract for one in that neighborhood by “David weekly homes” however the quotes I’m getting for my homeowners insurance is way way more due to it being wood framed I was told 🥲. Plus I’m a little worried about termites. With that being said I still fully believe in sunbridge and it’s future project and growth over the years and truly believe I will be glade I bought a house here now in 5-10 years from now.
Correction - EverBe is maybe 30 minutes form Disney. No way it's 15 minutes, unless you have a Jetson's flying car.

I would stay away from Pulte. I’m in Ridgeview & built with Landsea homes, however my neighbors have so many issues that built with Pulte. Their customer service is horrible. The quality of their homes is. Bad. Issues in other neighborhoods as well so I don’t have any faith in the new neighborhoods their building in. Buyer beware🤦🏽♀️

@@kenpozek Thanks for asking. All of it... Sunbridge because it’s close to Lake Nona (our soon-to-call home location). EverBe and The Dr. Phillips project - the Packing District because there appear to be many things to do outside the theme parks. And then there is Wellness Way for sports and outdoor stuff. We are so looking forward to our 2023 move to Orlando.
Nice video! Yes, the College Park area is inside Orlando and very beautiful. Clermont and St. Cloud are technically Central Florida (not Orlando) but very beautiful places to live.
Another quality video with useful information. Makes me sad to see Ridgeview today. Too many houses with too many retaining walls with limited area for water runoff.

curious that they're using wood in sunbridge in the homes, because the wood would still need to be dried, before it could be used...
I believe they’ve been clearing thanks for years. Could be a marketing ploy. Could be used in the future. From what I hear it was a deal they struck with the church who owned the land.

Would move out of Orlando if I could, got too big, poor wages, awful traffic, more crime and rude, shady people. OIA is a joke considering how many tourists we get along with horrendous traffic at the airport.
I remember when Orlando used to be beautiful!
Smelled good, too --baking bread aroma from Merita and orange blossoms during winter. I miss both!
I came here in 2002 caught the ending to this beauty with orange fields and a lot more land 20 years later so much changed it's crazy can only imagine the people that's been here longer I know they disappointed

@@sarahmiller3941 I came to Orlando in 1987 living in West Oak Ridge Rd back then OBT is full of hooker and druggy. I’m glad they decided to clean up that area make it look better
HOA fees are constantly going up here on a yearly bases. Very hard to find a non HOA house . Pools are filled with screaming kids. No thanks !!!

Hello, I would like to know more about Everbe and sun one. We are not moving until late 2023 to 2024. We need to be close to Orlando for Trader Joe’s my husband will be transferring there. We are Disney fans too of course. Thank you and have a great holiday ,

Horizon West is in Orange county, not lake county.
Lived in orlamdo a year in mid 90s, hated it its not like miami.
$400k to $700k for a townhouse - who are they kidding?
What is the median household income of that area?
The only people who could afford such a price are those from California (who made some money selling their homes in California.)
But they are not moving to Florida anymore.
You used the Del Webb pool/amenity center picture for the cover of your video, but yet not a single word dedicated to the 55+ active adult Del Webb Sunbridge community? What gives?
Sunbridge is a massive development. Del webb is inside it.
Yet you had no issues calling out Weslyn Park? Or the Marina District. Sunbridge (on paper) will be a massive community once it’s built out in 30+ years. Right now, today, Sunbridge is Del Webb (with 300+ homes sold) and Weslyn Park just getting started (I doubt there are even a dozen homes closed in that community as of this writing).

There should be more 15mins towns instead of these colossal sized neighborhoods of 800 homes with one way in, one way out. It's not a good use of land. At all.
Clermont/Lake county and Narcoossee are in no way “Orlando”.

Clermont was such a beautiful town. Unfortunately, the so-called leaders thought it would be a good idea to make it a carbon copy of Orlando.
Everbe stinks!!!! It literally is a view of the orange county landfill and that park of 417 always smells awful!
Stay away from HOA
As the economy continues to deteriorate no one is going to buy these over priced homes and the developers will eat dirt!!
