I used it .. after it i used innova, endeavour, fortuner .. but I don’t know why my love for skoda remains same and more than other cars … except its repair .. everything is just more than perfect.. pickup , luxury, comfort .. i just say skoda is amazing…

Repairing is so expensive in octavia. It costed around 49k once.

You had mentioned a point on Manoeuvring Brake system. This works only when the car is between 2 to 10kms of speed. So predominately useful while parking. This is FYI. May be useful
In india any car over 18 lacs to 20 lacs ex showroom NEEDS to have ventilated seats !!! This car would be purchased mostly in tier 1 cities. We all know the traffic conditions there. Without ventilated seats driving in start stop traffic where you have to continuously look left and right is a mayhem without ventilated seats
For Indian conditions sun roof is useless future ,but should definitely have ventilated seats for every car.
Features r not important. The driving experience, the tsi and the German built quality is enough
The car has alcantara seats and they don’t get hot in summers at all. In my experience, I’ve never felt the need for ventilated seats in this car.

@@_anindith_ this all is a mith if you get a good insurance coverage this car is very easy to maintain i own multiple vw and skoda cars safety is best in class and drive is extremely good , luxury top notch
@@chiragsharma5395 but the main problem is that they don't offer diesel cars anymore. For a person who travels more than 100 kms daily for commuting to workplace, it becomes a costly deal 🥲

Skoda & Volkswagen are kids of the same parent company. Both have traced their designs from Audi. The paint & build quality of Skoda & Volkswagen is awesome due robotic processes and German paints. Skoda got more Steel and Volkswagen got more alloy mixed steel & lighter. If on the budget you want to feel class of luxury then Skoda Superb , VW - Jetta & Passat are very good options.T-Roc is another mini Audi Q2.

BTW Audi seems the oldest Luxury Car manufacturer among 03 Germans. Now Audi is under Skoda, as Skoda bought maximum shares from VW. @@myt3734 Audi DNA is separate & based in Ingolstadt not built by VW. VW is just a makan malik likte TATAs, the brand is Range Rover. Similarly, the standards of luxury cars are different & original Audis are RS series with no MQB Platform sharing. VW build Beetle.
That's why skoda Octavia remains in the market in D segment sedans in market (apart from luxury car brands)
I think ever car above 25 ex showroom should have a hybrid system in it so it can give punch when needed & also increase mileage when driving normally that will them totally worth the price. I mn everytime we break or slow we waste power in time where fuel is in another planet we need to do these solutions. Another thing i don't know if thats possible tell me if it is can we used fully electric motor in it & instead of powering with battery use hybrid system to power those motors that engine can keep charging battery by this we can shrink engine size now it only have to charge battery. This concept is used in Warships i know about this but not sure if that works in modern cars.
I have skoda superb 2014 what a car.Superb car and tremendous power and pick up.

We had a Laura and later got a superb 2014 second hand. It's pick up felt so powerful, it was literally a Audi A6 under the hood. Damn
Same thing happened with me few days back,the car just stops and locks all brakes to avoid the collision and that’s just feels so terrible for a moment..Glad someone said it.
You can switch that feature off. Atleast in my Octavia 2018 I could do it

100% true. Octavia is becoming Superb, then what's the point of having two cars which are pretty much same. We had a Laura diesel too, It was so brillant. Later got the 2017 Octavia which was also good but can see the difference in driving dynamics. The Lastest Octavia is a luxury sedan than a driver's car.
I am driving this car in Sweden now. In fact I just hopped on to the same car to drive to another city. Costs 23lakh in Sweden when the sedan was available, but 35 lakh in India. This is a 10/10 car under 25 lakh. High tax makes it 7/10. But then tax on other cars also high.

Bhai Audi A4 is now on road is 53.5 lak and bmw 3 series comes 54 lak on road octiva L & K comes 35 lak so there is lot difference in price
You can't get decent audi or bmw at this price. Now starting price of C class & 3 series is ~60-65L.

From out side it looks outstanding...I like this Skoda car.
Skoda is merc/audi/bmw in disguise... If you're a man who follows the concept of stealth wealth, skoda is the way to go.
In bumper to bumper traffic we got 8-9km/lit mileage. On Highway for 18.5-20.5km/lit.
The overall journey gave an 18km/lit average.
I have driven the octavia yes its an great car but would surely disagree on the fact that he said more enthusiastic to drive than a bmw or a merc its just not not even close bmw legit feels like a monster when cornering + build quality is good but not as good as bmw,merc audi again by a far margin alcantara feels like velvet buttons on the steering wheel feels cheap overall if you want to save money its a good car if you want proper driving experience go with the bmw want comfort as well as performance go for the merc
Also the brakes!!! Brakes are good better than civic’s but not as good as luxury brand cars …. Maybe a little less sharp than audi’s but definitely not as good as merc’s

This car is very good in terms of driving pleasure and functionality . The thing which bothers me is that the technicians of Skoda dont have knowledge or may be they are not able to deal with the issues come in technicality. Overall this car is fantastic my family owned first generation and with that experience I would say in comparison to highly reputed brands this car stands in their comparison besides technical issue which may arise .

yea, cuz u r not practical. Sunroof is not needed in India in more than 95% cases.
True, no sunroof, no ventilated seats, no 360° camera, no heads up display, no physical AC knob ( a beauty with lights).
Also if I compare with Audi wheel base should have been around 2700, when the length is 4686. We hardly needed 620 litres boot, instead 520 would have been good enough.
We feel more so when we see that Venue or Brezza even giving heads up display

Only problem I faced in this car is that while driving the steering sometimes gives a sudden pushback and make a noise… maybe because of traction control or what but that’s the only problem I have faced. For me 8.5/10 … if that steering problem was not there 9.5/10. @skodaindia @skoda
