Owner is well informed and regarding odometer he is right only 60 percent of odometer is used in top model of Slavia whereas ambition model has a fully functional odometer with an rpm meter !

Sir 1.5 TSI has a bit lower fuel efficiency, around 11-12 kmpl in city but on highways it easily returns 17 kmpl

Comfort wise both are pretty much equal, but City feels more spacious inside

DSG has a lot of issues in India particularly in start/stop traffic and not recommended by Team BHP.
@@pranavtendolkar8578 Just because you don't have a problem, doesn't mean no one else has a problem. Indian traffic conditions do not support DSG. If Team BHP says there are problems, there are problems, unless you claim to know more than Team BHP.

15 yrs back 2 spoke steering was considered cheap coz it used to come in M800 ambassador etc. So car manufacturers gave 3 spoke steering wheels and tata even gave 4 spoke steering. Now that 3 spoke is common they are projecting as if 2 spoke is a premium feature. Talk about lack of innovation.
They have made cost cutting on seats quality

Cars in which a six feet person struggles to sit and drive as so less space between head and roof.The first time i went to see this car in showroom,was amazed by its outer look.But as soon as i opened door to take on driver sit,it repelled me instantly.I learnt that day beauty is only skin deep applies to even cars.Only that person would buy such cars who wants to do showbizz to others and give a third grade prioirty to his own and family comfort.The maker of car whoever is,this is a disaster. How this can be a german company?.Germans are tall.

used to come earlier but now skoda has removed subwoofer and screen size reduced to 8 in and no wireless android auto and carplay
Listen rare disc brake is not cost cutting real cost cutting is , ugly boot area, not covered fully , you can easily see dangling wires in between which looks and feels cheap too, mirrors are soo light compared to old polo which need two hands to close down, boot lid is soo light to close when compared to old vw Ameo, even boot lid closing mechanism is way better in old vw cars .
how would 17 Inch Wheels performe in Slavia ?
I think 17 inch wheels would look amazing but ride quality will be affected

19 lakhs ki car, without rear disc brake, without automatic transmission...wo variant ke liye 2 lakhs extra 😅, 6 speakers instead of 8, sluggish and smaller infotainment system comparatively....
179 mm ground clearance is only when no person is sitting inside the car. It reduces considerably after 5 people are occupied. Cheap plastics in the interior and door pads...
I think this car is truly overpriced for what it offers....
Honda City offers way more driving pleasure and value

But the Honda City has way less ground clearance than compare to Skoda
At 19 lacs, It’s priced pretty decently. Slavia is way ahead compared to Honda City, 1.5 Turbo is much more fun to drive compared to the 1.5 NA especially the DSG version, CVT is shit. Infotainment in Slavia is much better than the old school one City offers. Only thing that’s better in City is the cushiony seats making it feel a bit more premium. In terms of Safety, 5* for Child and adult makes it the safest car in the segmen. Overall Slavia/Virtus is a much better choice.

Car is only for hardcore skoda fan....plastic quality of switches,below sunroof,height adjustment,reclined adjustment,dashboard not up to mark for 20 lacs car....not impressed on test drive...except driving infotainment system also not so good.
True, even I had taken a test drive of Slavia and Virtus, City is more plush and looks worth the money. The hand brake also stands out like a sore thumb.
the paint is water based. engine original germany turbo from germany . Maruti will give you all shining things. turbo is delhi made. Suzuki is nothing in front of VW. VW was the no 1 car brand globally in terms of revenue. (sales toyota). Maruti is not even in the top ten list. Indian mindset will never change. glossy paint. free perfume. 10 speakers. air purifier. ambience light. and 0 safety.
