Life will come our way, It has only just begun. The world will die alone The frail will fall below. Time will take our place. We return it back to one The calm before the cold, The long and lonely road. Look for the light that leads me home. Tired of feeling lost, tired of letting go. Tear the whole world down, tear the whole world down. Failure. Drive the cloud away, We will fall from last to none. The dark before the dawn, The war will carry on. Look for the light that leads me home. Tired of feeling lost, tired of letting go. Tear the whole world down, tear the whole world down. Tired of wasting breath, tired of nothing left. Tear the whole world down, tear the whole world down. Failure. Tired of feeling lost, tired of letting go. Tear the whole world down, tear the whole world down. Tired of wasting breath, tired of nothing left. Tear the whole world down, tear the whole world down. We bury the sunlight (failure), we bury the sunlight (failure). Failure! Failure. We bury the sunlight (failure), we bury the sunlight (failure). Failure! Failure. Failure.
I absolutely love these isolated vocals tracks! Specifically BB ones because from a music producing perspective some of their choruses always utilize the use of a lower octave on Ben’s main melody. Gives it that major impact or as I like to say “more balls” lol! Especially with the harmonies! They do this practice on “Breath” and “Give Me A Sign”. But this is also done on Disturbed’s song “Vengeful One” as well. Put on some noise-canceling headphones, turn it up a little and listen closely to what I’m talking about!
This is amazing, I actually downloaded it to my phone, right to my phone's music app... I hear all of the layers of Ben, Aaron Bruch, and Keith Wallen'Z vocals. There's soo many. Thanks for the upload.
Breaking Benjamin has helped me through LIFE. They really portray my thoughts in my head in such a beautiful way.. when I can’t express my emotions this is the way to go.. ❤️ when i was 9 I used to fall asleep to the phobia album cause that voice is just angelic😭❤️ LOVE THESE
Sounds to me like, pitch correction (as usual for most modern album songs), delay, reverb, double tracking and harmonies all over the place. Definitely more than just octaves, sounds like 5ths and all sorts in there at different points. Generally a great example of how seemingly unnoticeable things in the final product have such a giant effect
Perfectly done! Mind if I use this for a mashup I'm thinking of making? I know UMG will Content ID claim it, but they can have their 2 cents of ad revenue from it for all I care
I love BB, I really do. The only think I don't like 'bout them is the constant use of effects on Ben's voice. They don't sound as the studio songs in the concerts. But it doesn't mean they're bad or fakers. They're still my favorite band ever.
There's actually very little effect. It's just a dub on the main lain an octave low. And in concert, very many singers don't sound the same as they do in studio. Considering Ben also has some vocal issues.
These melodies are impossible to sing without it. Trust me, you wouldn't want to hear what it sounds like without it. Which is exactly why Ben doesn't sound that great live...and he even uses autotune live too, lol.
@@ctole5630 I hear -- modulation (chorus / wattery effect, he's been using that since the Polyamorous days), digital reverb, compression, de-essing, also EQ, and also Melodyne pitch correction and artificial harmonies. The lower harmonies are real, but those high up harmonies are not really sung, it's Melodyne. If that's your definition of "very little effect" then IDK what to tell ya, lol. But like I said, these are not simple "Nirvana" like melodies, these melodies would be extremely hard for even an accomplished male opera singer to be able to hit them.
Tim Goodwin I actually didn't, it was a rip from Rock Band 4. I can't remember who did it though, I just uploaded it cause I couldn't find any "Failure Vocals Only" of this quality.
@@ogbee9690 Surely you know all these vocals are heavily edited and autotuned. I'm not knocking Breaking Benjamin or anything but these songs aren't his raw vocals.
@@ogbee9690 But seeing how the songs he does are studio recorded I'm almost positive it isn't raw. Like, 95% of any artist uses SOME SORT of autotune or editing one way or another. Not saying it's bad I mean autotune can make amazing sounding music. I'm just being realistic.
The vocal harmonies of this song are haunting. It's beautiful to hear them isolated!
3:00 on gives me chills. Dude has such a powerful voice.

Andrew Ballon / sounds great. I'll split the cost with you. Absolutely amazing.
Just beautiful! Absolutely incredible
Dude! So sick! Not even many effects tbh, really just layered with nice harmonics from a lower and higher octave from the voice!
And a healthy bit of Auto-Tune haha, but still awesome vocals (:

In the cooold eternal light..

I would LOVE to hear the vocals only for Dear Agony! Ashes of Eden, Anthem of the Angels, and Dark of you would be amazing too!!
I would get goosebumps if I heard just this at a concert and the entire audience sang along.
I was lucky enough to go to a concert, it was an amazing experience, and yes, this song brought me and doubtless others to tears!
Thanks. I really enjoyed listening to that.
"Down" vocal track? Or "close your eyes" would be great to!

Whoops, I forgot digital delay, too :D
What are the background vocals saying in the outro?
I believe they're saying "So long", at least from what I can hear when I mess with the track
Ewan Plummer that’s what I hear too! Thank man! This is amazing how’d you isolate this?
