- Harihans Bulbule breaks free of his desk, gets a new Jeep Compass Trailhawk and sets off for the high Himalaya.
This is his adventure in Himachal Pradesh's serene and secluded Pangi Valley and over the might 14500 foot high Sach Pass.

I love how the locals advised you not to go, but you took on the challenge and made them eat their words. There's a lot of excellent footage and production value here. I wish i could afford an SUV..jeep is a dream..and go on camping as you have...it is said that first deserve then desire....working hard and honestly..lets see which year of my life i would be able to buy a 4x4 suv.....finance is what i dont do & had promised my papa that i would not...until then me and my Accent...we do city driving together!!

How would you compare it with your adventure drives around spiti and all in fortuner the old one...Can jeep compass trailhawk travel easily on those terrain which fortuner does.

If you check out other videos on UA-cam you will see the compass is beaten by Mahindra's n ohter cheap 4x4s
1danny2k that is simply because other 4x4 s r having 4 low/high, which compass is not having, otherwise compass is quite capable car of its segment. A complete mixture of performance & comfort, but then it is the price that is coming on its path of sales, because at this price point u vl get more capable mahindra Alturas G4, little bit expand ur pocket & u get ford endy & toyota fortuner. 30lacs is a huge amt for this car, as for me.......

Thats a pretty great car as i have experienced it in offroad trails .... And your videography n editing skills with naration is spot on .... Of course thats what u r specialised at ...... And to those who judge a compass by watching Anshumans video i just wanna clear u one thing ...... Watch that video carefully and they r struggling there to figure it out all the settings of the car and they are not even able to find which mode they have to use .... And one more thing is the owner is scared to give it a momentum with the doubt that the front bumper might hit the ground because its a pretty new car .... How can a car that too with onroad tyres can crawl a steep incline without any momentum carried on ? U can see rest of the SUVs are carrying momentum before they hit the incline so its easy for them ... But when u have no momentum and started to climb an incline from start off that too in dirt , ur wheels won't find traction and the car can't make it out .... I can tell out of my experience with the same that its a pretty capable SUV but i don't talk about the price n all bcz its a jeep afterall .... It may not seems value for money but those who buy it will never get disappointed if had the skills

This is not 4x4xbut just AWD...not matter that they mention its just doesn not have low range gearbox and differential for 4x4 system its pseudo 4x4 not the real one..Its as good as former XUV5OO and Duster AWD

One of the advantage of Living in Delhi is that Himalayas are just 300km drive away! I have always been in awe of the Himalayas. The mighty mountains which makes us feel puny. To take our own Car from South to the Himalayas, well, our holidays will be over by the time we drive 2k kms to the Himalayas :/
