I wondered about the man with the red bandana when I heard of his service to the people of tower 2. I am grateful to those who have now shared his story.
I used this video for proof about the red man in the bandana because somehow no one in my class not even the teacher knew about this story and when i wrote my 9/11 essay i was a senior. I’m surprised my English teacher didn’t know about this story during 9/11.
"He spent his final moments saving others" I see your point, however, the legend of Wells is WHAT he did. Besides, they had already done the tour, the artifacts had plaques that gave the backstories.
Joe Dave this is the only speech Obama said that made any sense he had no emotion about it but he was sincere about it but i still don't trust him and never will.
@@sharonmckay9920 I were alive, and I'm not the one being butthurt at a current president (at the time of the video) honoring something that is now a big part of history. I hope every president does this in the future as well.
Proud to say that Welles is from my town. A true hero. Rest In Peace.
Welles was from your Town? Your Town must be so proud of him! What a guy! What a Hero!
What a hero. Love from 🇬🇧 UK. It broke our hearts 9/11. RIP Welles and all the other souls ❤️
Trump could never articulate a speech as moving and eloquent as this.
You are Right
I love Trump, but I agree. This man could make the phone book interesting.
Politics on a video about 9/11 is wild, you need to check yourself.

I needed to cry a bit so I remembered this speech and came to watch it again.

The Man in The Rex Bandana died a Hero! He was such a brave, courageous young man! He was only 24 years old.

He makes me proud to be an American. 🙏🙏🙏
I have been in this place. I find Obama's speech full of respect and dignity.
✊🏾RIP Welles!!!!
A touching story told by a very good orator.
Rest in Gods Loving Arm's...
Such a good story
Hard to believe he went up and down 78 stories twice in 1 hour.
It didn't say that. But it's not impossible.he brought people to the stairs. And showed them out.
He took them from 78 to 61 and then went back up. He was found with firefighters in the lobby.
Tremendous heart, determination and courage
The President missed the fact he went up again...
@Giovanni Velasquez He went back up twice, not once. I think that should have been mentioned.

Who's here from Mr. Estock?
a great speaker especially compared to Joe Biden
You are a special kind of dumb.
such a great story sad to see such a hypocritical man telling it

BS... Trump is a pile of scat compared to him.
Trump would've made this speech about himself and you know it.
Go take your vitriol somewhere else. Trump would never have made such a amazing speech without taking credit for himself.
Disrespectful for you to make this political 🙄
What???? Who is he to comment??? He wasn’t president when it happened,,,, omg!!!
What were you at that time? Yet, here you are commenting.
@@missJolie85 what were you? 😂

Shut the hell up, Sharon
This is the dedication ceremony in 2014. BTW, Obama is good friends with George Bush, who was president in 2001.
