Your tractor is absolutely gorgeous. The wife and I purchased a B275 that has been mistreated for many years. I'm hoping we can restore it. We will start posting videos of the journey so that others can help us fix it as we are by no means experts in any of it. I can watch videos, turn wrenches, and use paint cans. It will never look as good as yours does, but we also plan on using it to bush hog, and maintain the 3/4 mile dirt road of a driveway that goes thru 4 parcels of land.
Good to hear another one being saved, don't know if you are on Facebook but we have one or two groups on there, international 3 & 4 cylinder tractors,international owners are two,although predominantly UK members we do have a few of our American cousins on there,very helpful members on there when it comes to the more technical things, good luck with the project
bufferbridge Don't blame you. Remember a video where some mag. pitted a taxi-driver's knowledge against a SatNav to see who landed first at some place. The SatNav fell off the windscreen!
I notice the lever for the parking brake is like the later model (about 1963 and up) B414 tractors with larger brakes. Is that the original rear end on your tractor or did IH build it that way?
If I am not wrong this engine was used in Mahindra Jeeps of diesel version during late 1970s up to early 1990s in our country India by Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd Bombay.
As a kid learnt to drive the 275 ,first tractor I drove,such an iconic engine sound the international tractors.

My dad bought a b275 20 years ago first tractor. I ever drove at 8 years old, and I bought it off my dad. It has been a good tractor

I just thought the same. It has wide footplates and a cranked diff lock pedal as per 434. Nothing wrong with that but its most likely a bitsa.

I have a question on where to locate the tachometer housing on the dash and where to install the spinning cable that goes along with it?
Tachometer goes in it's own housing below steering wheel,drive is taken from a little gearbox just above the engine oil filter

1964 model, yes in the UK
Thanks Roland, I don't think these tractors with the advanced hydraulics made it down under because of the availability of the B414.
