If you use acetone on a small brush and go around the cuticle area after placing sticker, the results will be cleaner and not as textured looking.
Shannon Colman Thank you for a respectful and constructive comment without personally insulting this gal like I've seen in other comments here.We are all learning, and she does a hell of a better job than I'm managing now as a nail art newbie..
Agree 👏✌️
Someone give this person a medal
aww thanks so much Emma!
+Natalie Chernyak I think she was talking about the owner of this video.
+Neon Flims Yes, that's me. I was commenting from my personal account! :)

This will save me _soooo_ much time when doing intricate designs on my nails and will guarantee much more precise designs (it's always awkward swapping hands). It will also save time waiting for my nails to dry and not being able to get on with anything, as well as saving me the complete hassle of having to re-do a whole nail design if I smudge it or make a mistake. Girl, you are a legend! :)
Lamp Shade Thanks so much for watching and for leaving the sweetest comment!
Natalie's Creations You are welcome :)
Love the idea and since I can't draw anything freehand I think I'll cheat. I can print out what I want, stick it in the sheet protector and color over it.
I'm going to do that tooooo
How are you doing today my name is Eric Moore
Your voice is in one headphone and the music in the other... My head :(

Bad gyal riri erm...take off the headphones. Problem solved..
How about you take off the headphones! 😮😮😮 mind blown!!!!
GENIUS!! This is fabulous!! I am learning how to do my own nails and now I can learn to design my own art. Thank you so much for sharing your talent!!
hey, there is an easier way to get rid of those folds without trying to cut it to the shape of your nail.
1) place the sticker on your nail after putting a thin layer of top coat like she did and position the sticker as you want it.
2) then take a clean up brush dipped in acetone and brush it around the edges of your nail.
3) the excess sticker will come off because of the acetone and the folds will melt into the nail polish naturally.
4) then just cover it with a top coat.
+Natalie Knobel Thank you for your suggestion, Natalie!

can I use assignment file to apply clear polish on without the white paper below?
Does this technique work for gel polish as well? Or only regular polish?
Can we use bottom cote to use instead of clear nail polish?
this is awesome! I have issues with my ability to use my hands as it is and then trying to put nail designs on with my non-dominant on is really difficult. But this is so simple! thanks!

You're too awesome! Thank you!
Help I did some hand made stickers turkey heads for my right and left hand and now they won't come off the sheet protector or would it be better to wait until tomorrow?
ahhh sorry, i took too long to respond but depending on the type of polish you use, it might take a little longer to dry and become easy to peel off from the plastic. You can wait longer or try bending the plastic at the corner of the image. Hope this helps and hope your turkey heads manicure was a hit!
Awesome! Thanks so much for subscribing!
Omg! Ty so much. I'm going to try this.
lisamariek2009 👍
this is a really good idea love it 💗
cami alling Thank you!
can we use nail polish instead of paint?
yup!
Thank you for this easy way to do many things on my nails I absolutely love it
Ashley Stepp Thank you Ashley!
amazing idea I love it :)
I like to paint the whole nail on the plastic and then stick the whole thing on. Was able to make a water marble look using the plastic and blobs of polish. Such a good tool!
Isolath Creations Great idea, like the whole nail sticker, right? Awesome!
Yes, like a whole nail sticker. You need a few coats on and needs to dry completely to work, though. But it is great to create your own designs that you can save for later for quick and easy application :)
Better than any other tutorial ever!!!!!!!:))
how long did you have to wait before you peeled the design?
Which colours you are using for design? Kindly let us know the brand name of paints?
Thank you so much very helpful
Its a big hellppp !! Thankyou so muchhh !!

+Arshdeep Kaur Thank you so much!
Great solution for non dominant hand!
i am going to try this omg so cute
Wow great. Am trying this tomorrow. Thanx for sharing :-)
Sharon Harker Thank you!
This awesome I will try it good idea
Best tutorial ever. :) new subbie.
I also do something like this myself when I know I'm going to paint my nails the next day! But, instead of using acrylic paint, I use my nail polish and draw my designs on a plastic paint tray, let dry over night, and it peels off perfectly with tweezers the next day!! And after applying to nails, I just add a clear coat over. But, never make designs with a matte finish, it won't peel off whole, it will just get gritty when trying to peel off :)
But pre making your own designs makes nail art much easier!!
Great tip thnx, im a mommy so almost no time to do my nails. Im a nailtech go figure :-)
I tried this method, but it turned out very bubbly after drying. I'm not an expert, but I think the polish under the "sticker" made those bubbles while it was drying. Is this a common problem? How can I solve it?
instead of shaking the polish and hitting it on your hand you turn it sideways and slowly roll it back and forth for 20-30 seconds or until you feel its ready, it gets rid of most of the air bubbles and prevents them as well.
Awesome! Going to a GoT viewing party and wanted to paint my nails with theme and design. Now I can have something decent! Thanks for sharing!
Omg Im so excited for GoT! Have fun!
this is sooooo helpful ♡. I was wondering to find something quite cheap!
+Karolina Hersborg yay! Thanks!
can i draw the design with nail polish?will it be the same?cause i dont have acrylic paint. :/
Such a helpful video!!! I've been doing the clear coat after I paint the design. No wonder it hasn't been working.
+Shilane Pallesen Thank you!
Nice tutorial
Best idea ever!!!
i have seen ppl put pan spray? butter spray on their nondominant hand then paint that hand then take the polish of when its dry but i wonder if the pan spray would cause any issues with keeping the polish on my other hand
shalom
Incredible!
Ej Jones Thank you!
You're very welcome! If i do one stroke designs I'd definitely use this technique for my other hand too! :-)

it's really awesome
That's a really good idea as I can never do many designs on my nails because I can't paint with my left hand! Thanks
your nails look fabulous
wickedbeauty1 Thanks girl, lots of work but i like it!
You can also do this with a peel of coat! It looks as great as this! Maybe a little better🤔😘
Can you use gel nail polish??
:-) Thanks! and thanks for subscribing!
awesome idea. and design.gonna try that
+deeya diy Thank you! Hope you have fun trying it out!
+Natalie's Creations how many time the nail polish will take to dry. because I had tried this method means putting nail polish on a plastic then stick it on nail. it took 2 days to dry.
When I tried to peel it off it kinda stretched and the design was ruined :( was the layer of polish too thin?
+Mina Puig (Piug) Yes, i think that's the main reason something like that would happen. Try a couple coats of the clear polish before placing your design on top.
Thank you so much! Imma go do that now
For the clear... use Wet n Wild & it will stay flexible for months. Make your decals ahead of time & save them. Plus, the WnW polish is thicker & it will be very easy to peel off the plastic!
Base coat wet and wild ?
That's really good:)
Great idea, thank you!
How are you doing today my name is Eric Moore
This is soooooo helpful, thanks soooooo much :-)
britthappens17 thank you!
Thanks for this tutorial:)
can i use watercolor?
You just added a bit of water to mix your two acrylic colors, correct? How do you clean your brushes? My end up hard after drying. Thanks for the video. I have tons of acrylic paints and never thought of using them for nail designs.
i use polish remover and work the brush dry
Acrylic paint is water soluble. It's best to wash the brushes with warm water while the paint is still wet, but with a bit of effort, warm water and maybe polish remover or soap you should be able to peel off dry acrylic paint stuck to the brush bristles.
Rachel Sherrin-Peterson
If only washing off acrylic paint from your brushes, use soap and warm water. Do not use nail polish remover (acetone). Acetone will very quickly dissolve the glue that holds the brush hairs.
Here are some more instructions for care of your brushes:
1) Hang your brushes to dry upside down (if convenient), else lay them on a flat surface to dry.
2) Never leave them to dry brush side up because the water will dissolve the glue (as it leaks down) and your brushes won't last long. Furthermore, this slowly deforms the brush shape over time.
3) Never leave your brushes to soak in water for long because it will destroy the brush shape. Ideally you shouldn't let acrylic paint dry on your brushes to the point that you need to soak them (soaking is very bad). This will also dissolve the glue.
My brushes have lasted 10+ years following this care regime. Hope this helps :)
That was a great tip thank you
