Jake E. Lee should have been a superstar!!!! He was something special.
Ozzy was the weakest part of the band.
lol
@@centaurus5676 Funny, but unfortunately you are right. ^^ I don't even think that this dude is writing more than lyrics. Entertainer. Not musician.
Should've been, ???? He is
@@shaneemerson7843 Sharon cut him off when his popularity was starting to outshine Ozzy. And sometimes it’s chemistry, and after Ozzy he didn’t find the right guys to take them to the next level (like Motley, Bon Jovi, Metallica, etc)
2025 and Tommy Aldridge still hits them like this! Great show! Jake E. Lee was every good as Randy Rhoads as a player. As a composer RR has him beat! Still awesome!
Ozzy coming to this festival, which was the first major international band festival in my country, is something that marked our history, we are grateful for him coming, we salute Ozzy.
Yeah,Jake E. Lee and Tommy Aldridge put on a show while Ozzy hogged all the camera time even when he wasn't singing.Even during Jakes blistering solos the camera showed Ozzy walking around, clapping, flailing, talking to the crowd
That's amazing! 😊
I've always loved Ozzy!
Hail the prince of Darkness!!
The camera man must have been in LOVE with Ozzy during JAKE'S SOLOS 😮.... COULDN'T SEE HIM MELT FACES !
That was all Sharon. If the cameramen didn't do what she wanted they would loose work and or get fired. FACT.
Yes, video editing by Sharon.
Not the cameramans fault, it's the director that chooses the shot.
Jake E Lee is an awesome guitarist! His era is very underrated
It’s every Ozzy fans favorite era, how can it be underrated?
Such a shallow take.
Jake was not underrated back then or now,
Sounds killer! Definitely better than hearing these tunes WITHOUT hearing all those annoying & overplayed pinch harmonics that Zakk does!
Zakk is super overrated
@@manueltintori3718No he's not....
@@straty5598 a cheap copy of randy and Jake
@@manueltintori3718 Exactly!
I have heard and seen Joe Holmes play, for example, I Don't Know LIVE, and Zakk playing the same song. When Zakk played it starting from the beginning to the 1st chorus he played 26 pinch harmonics !! When Joe played it, there was maybe 6 . EVERY song Zakk does whether it's a Jake era tune, or a Iommi/ Ozzy Sabbath era tune, or a Randy era tune he just ruins the songs by burying the songs in all of those annoying & overplayed pinch harmonics !! I mean they're okay for Zakk's solo stuff, but that crap has to stop for all the other stuff !! And not to mention the super low tuning, not C# like he says he uses. Tony Iommi tunes to C# & Zakk isn't no C# !!
Ozzy once got rid of Zakk because and Ozzy quoted that ALL of the albums done with Zakk sound exactly the same. And as to why he brought Zakk back? Sharon's bright idea most likely. SMH 🙂
@@manueltintori3718 Jake was the best replacement for Randy. But Joe Holmes being a student of Randy's, is a strong runner up! Especially before Zakk. 🙂
Jake was literally a MONSTER!! 🤘🤘🔥
Ozzy hás a Power over all the People 😅😅😅only in The concert you can fell😅😅😅😅
Literally?
My first concert was Ozzy with Jake e Lee on March 18 1984, it changed my life 🤘🎸🤘🎸🤘🎸
Few Brazilians today know what this "ROCK IN RIO 85'" represented for the Brazilian people. It was the 1st live show with bands and international ROCK artists in Brazil! This generation of today, who call themselves ROCKERS, have no idea what TRUE ROCK is!🤟🏻💀🎸🦇🇧🇷
No one call themselves rockers anymore. Rock n Roll is dead among the younger generations.
Eu estava neste dia lá,um dia fantástico e inesquecível.Tinha 14 anos.ROCK FOREVER!🤘
not only brazilians, bolivians too, cos there was nothing like that before in this part of the planet! that moment some of us knew what metal was !
Falou besteira. Várias bandas internacionais tocaram no Brasil antes de 85: Kiss, Van Halen, Queen, Alice Cooper, etc.
Как для всего бывшего СССР был концерт monster of rock в Москве 😊
Jake is amazing. ozzy should have never fired this man
Sharon may have had something to do with that.
Greedy Sharon.
@@hansvandermeulen5515her and Phil Soussan
Jake has such a drive in his playing. So underrated.
Well put!!
@@boddumblues Thanx bro. I had the privilege to meet him back in the day. Great humble guy.
He was a so-so guitarist.
@@Brian-qn7fn I wouldn't call him that.

One of the greatest front man ever. I know there is plenty, but OMG seeing Ozzy since 78 is a blessing. I pray for his health.

HOW MANY PEOPLE IN AUDIENCE?
Amazing how Ozzy always attracted the number 1 talent at every instrument, all the time
Real recognizes Real
Back in the days when you didn't see 20,000 people looking at the gig through their phones, those were the days..
Jake E Lee was a phenomenal Guitarist to take over from Randy wow and Tommy Aldridge on Drums still going...
Randy made Ozzy on his own...
200 phones in your face blocking out half the stage ruins gigs for me these days.
And to learn Randy's licks and write his own for bark at the moon in a short amount of time. Who does that? Jake E Lee
I wish I could have been there, I would have filmed the entire thing on my phone. I love to rewatch my concerts later!
@@Nunya.Bidness But then you miss the gig so what's the point!! 🙂
@@ned1621 I hope you don't listen to music when you drive, if you can't hold a phone at a concert 🙄
Jake E. Lee is putting on a guitar clinic and the camera man can’t be bothered.
right? Not loud enough either , keyboards lower th!em.
So true….the slc bark at the moon concert did Jake justice…..this one not so much
A tragedy
… and Jake kills it here!
Jake was so fucking good live. I saw him with Badlands and he was amazing then too.
Tommy Aldridge. The man who never ages.
And swings like he’s in a bar fight. 👍💪💪
He kills it
The first two albums were so good Ozzy managed to live off of them for the next 40 years.
That's a bit harsh
The Jake E. Lee era is very strong and No More Tears is a great album. The other albums are debatable.
They've kept people going that he'll never meet.
No more tears was arguably one of his biggest selling albums and that wasn’t until the 90s. He still lives off sabbath as well. Dudes been in music since 1968 man
Even the last 2 Ozzy albums were great!! You should check them out.
I like the way Jake keeps the spirit of the solos but customizes them to be slightly different, but equally blazing!
Exactly that!
This lineup has to be the greatest of all the Ozzy years. Yes, Randy rhoads. I get it. But, damn. Jake is amazing.
RHOADS WAS OVERRADET
LEE WAS AWESOME...
Lee was superb , Aldridge outstanding!
and Bob exelent ! 😁
Dont forget the stellar bass player/lyricist Bob Daisley!!
No he wasn't. He was a so-so guitarist.
Lee was badass!
My Favourite Ozzy Line up a powerhouse!

Simply this sound or show will echo in eternity until the end of time. Ozzy

Ozzy Sounds So Good Live!! Jake E was awesome with him
Actually, he lost his voice during Steal Away the Night.
@@JohnMatrix5891 -- He lost his voice long before that...
My God they were all on their game. Jake E. Lee was a freaking superstar talent. Just another stratosphere.
Jake E Lee is a phenomenal guitarist.
He sounds perfect on this.
So does Tommy,
What an awesome drummer.
Powerhouse!😊
Isaw that show, Jake E Lee for me is one the best guitarist I,ve ever see play live.
Best solo was the Bark At The Moon solo. Jake was a genius
This is incredible. Jake is a monster. The band kills!
Wish things would go back to the way they used to be......
His voice cracks a lot here!
Fucking great. Ozzy may be a lunatic, but don’t be fooled. He’s a great live singer, always had a great band and killer songs.
It was mostly all for show he didn’t act that way in Sabbath. Ozzy is a make believe character and genius marketing gimmick. Lunatic? Maybe when wasted on tour.
All the letters was compused by bob dasley
I can imagine how happy these people must be to see the lead singer of the band that created Heavy Metal in front of them.
Was so heavily into Ozzy solo back in the day. The man never stopped entertaining people and was as real as it gets. He was a maniac on the stage. I loved every waking second of his live shows. Always will. He needs to rest now. He's never been able to give up because he loves his fans too much. I am forever grateful to have been a part of this era of music. There was a freedom that came with enjoying the bands of the day. I' turning 59 soon. I'll never stop rocking.
I was there!!! Bring back my youth, jake e lee fantastic🎉
Which band was bigger in South America in the 1970s, queen or the who??
I saw this same lineup when I was 15 years old (June 3, 1984) in Jackson, MS during the Bark at the Moon tour. Amazing in retrospect to be in the same room with such talented musicians/legends + the Ozter. That was Tommy's home state and basically city (nearby Pearl, MS), and the crowd was showing their/our love of Tommy. My concert ticket stub shows it as a "Be-Bop / Mid-South Concert". Be Bop Record Shop / Mid-South Wrestling!
Perhaps the best lineup OZZY ever had ... After Randy, Jack was absolutely the best guitarist with the madman ...
JAKE LEE, UM DOS GÊNIOS DA GUITARRA!
The Camera Man has no Idea. Jake is unbelievable and fantastic
Amazing Jake Lee,🤟
Agreed, Jake, Warren Demartini, and George Lynch were my Three favorites from that era. Great time to be a young buck in the 80's.
And the master Bob Daisley as well
So underrated it's not even cool
I never knew Bob played live with him?
I think it's tommy, like usual
@@christopherstevenrankinBob was with him pretty much the entirety of the 80s aside from a couple tours
Hoje tenho uns 2 mil cds do estilo.

No one could have replaced Randy Rhoades like jake did. He was simply able to carry that energy forward!
Los 80 fueron una época maravillosa para el Hard y el Heavy.
Ozzy with four legendary musicians: Jake E Lee, Bob Daisley, Tommy Aldridge and Don Airey.
Jake!!!!
thanks Sharon Osbourne, keep Ozzy alive for so long wasn't for Sharon Ozzy would been dead in his mid 30's us fans would miss out so much. and of course, his family to
Ozzy is arguably the luckiest person in the world of pop music, because he is always surrounded by some very talented musicians, and he doesn't even have to sing very well, which gives him a lot of time to take drugs and have fun...
In what hemisphere would you call/label any song ever done by Ozzy as pop music?? The prince of frickin darkness doesn't even know what pop music is.
@@wbrockstar9550 didnt he say who the f'#k is bieber lol
@@wbrockstar9550actually ' pop ' music is an short for popular music. His music was and is very popular .
@@davidmellish3295
If that's the case thanks for setting me straight.
@wbrockstar9550 it actually was to start with,I've seen an interview in which Mick Jagger describes the Stones as a pop band. This was in the 60s though, over time it has come to mean 'Justin Bieber' and Simon Cowell and his manufacturered 'pop' crap,in just the way you meant it.
I was half messing with you, even though pop is and was short for popular music,it was used at a time when pop bands were still very talented and played their own instruments and wrote their own music,The Beatles, The Stones,The Kinks,Led Zep,Cream etc etc all these bands are now thought of as legends and rock bands. I guess it's really an example of words and language changing over time.
So yes pop is short for popular BUT in today's world the meaning has now become exactly how you meant it mate
Jake is hands down the best guitarist Ozzy ever had. The dude is a savant and got railroaded. Still the BEST ozzy ever swindelled to play with him and Sharon, of course
Randy was the best guitarist Ozzy ever had get that straight right from ❤
@kevinkayrouz in my opinion, Randy's skill was great but his sound was horrible and Jake is better
Definetely Jake brought the best material to the band, best guitarist he had.
@@chucknien74I can't believe anyone says this stuff. Jake was great, no doubt, but Randy was special. I don't think Ozzy ever matched the Blizzard debut. Songs were great, Ozzy sounded great, the band was great, but jeezuz that guitarist blew people's minds
@straty5598 songs were better for the first 2 albums but I'm not on the randy train, what I've seen and heard Jake was a better guitarist, maybe Randy's writing was better but I'd take Jake over randy without hesitation
Oh what a great time! I was 14 and only a few years into my discovery of Metal and punk rock. Ozzy was still in his prime and everything he did back then was universally loved.
I loved the 80s .I partied with punk and rock players.
Dont forget that Randy literally wrote most of those songs played here. Give him his flowers.
the 80s god i miss that decade
12/21 throughout the 80's great time to be young, polar opposite of today's world.
Jake E Lee is THE BEST
The sound is much better than it used to be, I remember buying this show when they were selling them in the rock magazines 1985. And like White snake, another line up was finished after this concert
This video is remastered
Jake E Lee! Damn!!
A fantastic band. Jake E Lee is brilliant!!!!!
Nice to hear a guitar heavy mix, almost everything from Jake's era the guitars are too low.
This has to be Ozzy's best line up post Sabbath. Jake Lee is the best I've seen or heard with Ozzy. Incredible.
Jake on fire 🔥🔥🔥
❤️ Jake!
Bob and Jake? Yes please. Thanks for the upload, this is amazing.
and Tommy...
Jake was great. He was the perfect match to play Randy's music. Just heard the news and sure hope Jake is OK and makes a full recovery. He played the way it should be played Without all the stupid constant pinch harmonics of Zakk. Joe Holmes who was Randy's student also was amazing seen him twice. And he played it true to how it was originally composed by the great RR.
❤ Jake get well soon
Tommy Aldridge 🔥
Tommy Aldridge é pressão do início ao fim. Toca muito.

Jake e Lee ppl love you
While Jake was with Ozzy, he was the king of weird fills. He stuck them in everywhere without repeating himself. He pretty much stuck with the program in solos, but in between vocal phrases, all bets were off, and it was consistently wild

Our Dad took us to see the Ultimate Sin Tour. When he was stationed in Colorado Springs. I was 10 and my late sister was just 8. I had no clue why were attending it. At first I thought my Dad was out of his mind for taking us kids. Been a fan ever since that day. So of course I had to collect his past catalog of work. If there was any celebrity I’d attend the funeral for. It would be Ozzy.
SO much chorus and reverb on both Ozzy and Jake’s signal 🤣 it was full swing mid 80’s
