I just want to tell you how much your friendly and informative tutorials are valued out here. Thank you so much for putting all this work in a considerable body of Maya information. xx
Great tutorial! thank you! I have a question. How do you manage to add the background for your render? because I did it like I used to but it's not showing. I added a sphere with the normals reversed and the color is green so that I can remove it in other software. Or is there a way to make a video without background? Thanks in advance.
No problem, select your light dome, go to the attributes, scroll down until you see Visibility>camera. Use the slider to change it to 0. That should do it! I hope that helps :)
Great videos as usual thank you. Just wondering. Any chance (if it is something you do) show some tutorials on best practice creating a character model in Maya, adding clothing etc, adding a skeleton, and importing to Poser? I just cannot get it to work.
You are very welcome! Glad my videos are helpful. I have a tutorial on stylized character here: ua-cam.com/video/tbm1qTY1nt4/v-deo.html And rigging here: ua-cam.com/video/r0aFUjBb-Yo/v-deo.html I hope that helps!
Thank you!!!! You're the only one who actually mentions Everything they do, which is crucial for anyone new to Maya. THank you so much!

@@AcademicPhoenixPlus One thing though. At 5:44 you say Shift+R, but that should have been Shift+E, right?
This is so much better than learning how to use Maya in college
