Good point. Plus IT is a sector which has the ability to implement this on a large scale with immediate effect. Bangalore traffic is quite bearable during non working hours. If somehow we can manage to take the workforce off the streets, it would solve a lot of problems.

I am from Mangalore and would love to see a high speed connection between Mangalore-Bangalore. After working for decade+ in Bangalore I would love to work from my city full time. I am grateful to Bangalore for providing me a job that I love. But city has become too expensive, too loud and too traffic prone from the first days of my life in the city. I hope Bangalore gets more metro lines even to connect areas that is still under development. But as Gadakri ji said, Bangalore need satellite cities like Mangalore, Mysore, Hassan to decongest it.
@@siddarthization Bangalore (from Majestic) to Mangalore is 350KM and Bangalore to Chennai is 346KM. Distance does not matter if there is a high speed connectivity between the cities. @@AlohaKutla We have cities like Tumkur- Devanhalli which could act as Satellite town not far off places. But then growth should never be concentrated on a particular region. Places like HubaLLI- Dharwad, Gulbarga, Raichur, Davanagere need to be developed too! Davanagere once known for its textile has lost all the business to Bangladesh! IT must come there as well! Mangaluru (My birthplace btw 😘) is ideal for NMPT and the we have IT parks too. Manufacturing industries can’t be created due to very high humidity and vigorous monsoons…BUT WILL ANY POLITICIAN THINK LIKE THIS? illa chanceey illa…😄
As a transportation planner who has lived in Bengaluru for 3 years, I have always pondered about solving this problem. The metro construction should be completed ASAP and augmented with feeder bus system. Additionally, the major trunk roads should be made access-controlled. And the signals should be equipped with traffic cameras with ANPR technology to issue e-fines to traffic rule violators (especially those who make extreme lane changes after crossing the stop line). Air taxi is not going to be affordable for most people.
We need to remove ALL encroachments from our footpaths-Two and Four wheelers, street vendors, sign boards. We need to enforce parking of residential and commercial vehicles in their designated parking spaces, garages, which have been illegally converted into Xerox shops/ice cream parlours/medical clinics.....etc. This will immediately solve all Traffic Problems for Bangalore and Karnataka.
You nailed it, we need to decentralize the IT industry. Thats the only solution possible for Bengaluru. However, that will not happen as our Dy CM and few of or MLAs and ministers are owning large apartment and commercial building real-estate firms which has 100s of acers invested in Bengaluru.
On Bangalore roads, every junction, service lane merging, joints, etc are designed and constructed to give you an off-roading experience on the city road. Bus stops right before junctions expanding lanes from 3 to 5 and squeezing back to 2 lanes in span of 50 mts is high intellectual thinking. Parking is well planned and managed across the city. Building entries and foot path height is precisely engineered. U-Turns and lane mergings are a bless to Bangalorians. With all such innovations and extreme engineering, Govt still cannot understand why traffic blocks happen in Bangalore. For example, Electronic City Nice Road Exit is a benchmark for Govt's planning, execution and quality of work.
Not to mention, so many internal roads ending abruptly. Only if new areas had grid rods like HSR. This means all the traffic has to come to main road leading to more joms.
In Noida, traffic police made almost all high traffic signals, signal free by constructing u turns during lockdown. In bangalore , there is hardy any dedicated u turns. specially on outer ring road.
Decentralization of a city ie, creation of numerous Satellite cities around the major city, with an commendable mass transportation system like the MRTS, may help solve the Bengaluru traffic But it was really depressing when Mr. Nitin Gadkari simply said "no solution" to my beloved Bengaluru's traffic issue I feel so depressed & long to go back to the Garden city of Banglore which existed before 2014
i miss the garden city too. The bangalore now is a big big mess. People should go back to Working From Home. Nothing productive is accomplished in office

IT industry is the most malleable in terms of centralisation. Technically, you don’t need large campuses to work effectively as shown by the pandemic. If government incentivises WFH policies, a lot of the burden on cities will be distributed to surrounding towns and their local economies will also improve. Another important point is to incentivise public transport for state and local governments. Make the buses and trains stick to a proper schedule, and people will prefer to use them. With widespread internet availability, you can also market buses and trains as time-savers because you don’t need to bother about driving. Lastly, invest in local businesses with an emphasis on hand made creative products. In this era of AI, humans are only limited by their creativity. Invest in creativity. Let the machines handle the repetitive tasks. People won’t migrate to large cities if they can find a good quality of life in their hometowns.

The problem with Bengaluru is that all popular wining politicians have so much wealth, it is not humanly possible for any individual to manage that much wealth and concentrate on other works, and they come to power with so many personal promises, it is quite impossible for Bengaluru to make any progress, I would happy if the Bengaluru dosnt fall much
problem is very evident as Nitin Gadkari sir mentioned , Industries cant huddle into a particular city , we need to create avenues/incentives for industries to spread across cities , IT industry is so centralized in bangalore , it shouldnt be that just 1 city bears the brunt of the entire setup people may cite silicon valley in US and whatnot , compare the population first .. we need to plan better because of our population..
tokyo ?? Shenzen ?? different industries will centralize thats how it happens everywhere. Bangalore traffic problem is not because of too many people in one place but because of the number of cars on the road and no good public transportation.
To be fair, the Indian IT industry is becoming less centralised as more firms pop-up in Gurgaon, Hyderabad and Pune. But yes, I agree with your overall point that Indian states each need multiple Bangalore-type cities, not just one.
WFH is the best solution. Some people are saying it will effect the businesses. But if everyone goes to their home town then development will happen in all places. If everyone goes to offices in metro cities then only cities will be developed and small towns will be under developed. Also population will be evenly distributed if permanent WFH is implemented
Instead of developing few big cities like Bangalore,Chennai,Mumbai,Delhi,Kolkata goverment should focus on building more tier 3 cities or medium sized smart cities and build on good IT infrastructure in them.People prefer to work in areas close to their home because cultural and language factor.Polpulation will be diversified rather than being centralized to some developed cities. Many states will directly generate employment and thus boosting economy of respective states.Lastly people will lead a healthier livelihood.
Vision of 100 Smart cities is exactly that. But budget is a major concern. But we will get there slowly. You would have observed setting up of office by Indian MNCs in tier2 cities. Its WIP.
I am resident of bangalore. I have noticed few things 1.rapid expantion of metro project which is still going from last 15 year. 2.city should be planned.it is most unplanned city. 3. There is no rickshaw in city. Goverment should encorage rickshaw driver
First, the focus should be to complete the construction of metros in major areas. Then we should think about cable cars and all other things. It's been going on for more than a decade now.
I am from Karnataka. The main reason for this traffic are 1. Bengaluru has a Rapid grouth after 1990. Even population had trippled since 30 years. 2. The rapid growth was not predicted by the government. 3. The major traffic congestion takes place on outer Ring road Junctions which leads to IT parks, Industrial areas from Residential area. 4. Uncontrolled urban grouth around the outer ring road. Irregular planning around IT parks. 5. Needs public transportation options like suburban railways, BRTS. 6. As per planning present metro should have 5 lanes but it is having only 2 lanes. 7. The reality is most of the central govt doesn’t concentrate on Karnataka or Bengaluru. Example Bengaluru metro is only metro project funded by state government thats why it is called as namma metro. 8. The Karnataka state govt should focus on developing tier 2 cities alternative to Bengaluru. Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, Gujarat have alternative cities 9. Bengaluru needs self resilient planned satellite cities like Delhi, Mumbai 10. The state govt must have vision towards infra development rather than freebies.
Decentralization of the IT offices by creating satellite cities around Bangalore is a good idea. In addition, Bangalore needs an underground metro system with a tight grid. This grid should be dense enough to allow residents to get to a metro station within a 10-15 min walk from their residences. This will be expensive to build but this is the only practical solution for Bangalore. We shouldn't be thinking of adding more roads but find a way to remove vehicles from the existing roads. Any more delays will only escalate the costs further.
Some people are like we better have a congress govt who does absolutely nothing rather than a bjp govt who atleast tries and may be disappoint us in the process lol
i think small changes to the rules will make a big difference 1. Any new house or building requires parking in the urban cities else no permission 2. Reconstruction of old government buildings which has few floors to make a parking place in the first few floors and office on top. this way we will have lot of parking place and money for the government. 3. roads near most of the junctions are not proper so vehicles go slow, this create extra layer of traffic. 4. create flyovers where ever possible to reduce the city traffic. these can be a game changer if implemented.
I have a slightly different point of view. Significantly increasing parking facilities and adding lots of flyovers would only provide very short term relief, but would quickly become a much bigger traffic nightmare due to induced demand for more cars. We should reduce (and eventually, end) car dependency by significantly increasing mass public transit such as buses (Bangalore has very few buses compared to its population), dedicated bus lanes, Metro rail (which is in progress, but way too slowly), and even cycling lanes (which are actually a good option for travel within 5-7 km without luggage, which is a significant chunk of the daily urban commute currently being done by cars or cabs). In the long term, we should decentralize workspaces and residential areas and develop more mixed neighbourhoods with a mix of office and residential spaces so that lots of people aren't commuting towards large choke points. And of course, develop great satellite cities about 50-200 km away (Hosur and Mysuru, in Bengaluru's case).
his vision is commendable. the way he has developed infrastructure is amazing. and I agree that the way of managing the disastrous situation that we are in is technology along with restrictions on purchase of cars etc.

Solution for Bangalore traffic problems 1. We citizens need to be responsible ( both public and netas 2. Driving discipline ( lane) 3. In all IT corridors/companies personal transport (cars) to be discouraged/ not allowed 4. Like Singapore charge more than price of a car for RC book 5. Companies don't provide parking for cars To implement this coordination of public, netas, IT companies, BTP, Automobile companies need to come together If this is done the existing/upcomming projects are good enough for another 20 years. Good to see that you are thinking of 22nd century solutions.. but first are the existing 20th century possibilities implemented efficiently?? 1. How long it took to implement 2 lines of metro? 2. Has there been any effort of last mile connectivity from those metro stations through buses or mini buses? 4. how many partking spots available near to each metro station? any assessment/ data? 5. you white topped many parts of the city roads. what is condition of those roads?
Then all 5-10 other places will also face the crowd issue, traffic issue with time & then you will complain that these cities no longer have locals anymore & only other state immigrants
If people start opting for public transport, then traffic can be avoided. World-class public transport like metros, ac buses, taxi pooling, and metered autorickshaws are needed for the mass.
One of the solutions is to reduce people travelling to office alone in a car.. everyday i see hundreds of car with just one passenger.. all the managers, directors, CEO travel in car to "maintain" their reputation, so we'll need to ban them from doing so..
the only option is to make world-class transport system metros, and busses with many bus station and it should be luxurious so everybody can travel and doesn't hesitate so there is less need to go by car
The main problem is corruption. In all cities there is a concept of new and old city. And new city is so much better planned. Here still the govt is sanctioning projects for builders. With out proper planning
the problem is more related to unevenly distributed population(large number of people are packed in a small area) and poor road discipline , and less use of public transport from citizen outside karnataka .
Spent about 5 years now in Bangalore watching almost no progress in metro development. The green walls around metro pillars are a sore sight to every working Bangalorean. I agree to one of the comments here which points out the lapse in decision to not bring about any change during post lockdown + WFH time. Now, you cannot just shut off the city for development. Congestion is a real issue already, blocking roads for development, especially when alternate routes wouldn't accommodate vehicles will be raising hell. You also have to tend to local businesses and people, which are much larger in number than people who have the option of WFH. Not much of an expert here, but Bangaloreans would definitely agree to some degree of commute sacrifice to help enable such development, even if it means reducing commute (even odd days, etc). Also, it's high time to keep Bangalore traffic problem out of vote bank politics. Would love to drop the last part from "Bangalore is the best except traffic is a headache" :)
I have some solutions to it. Provide Work From Home for employees working in the city on alternate days., Create separate zones for cars, 7-seaters, cars, buses, and metros respectively, make Davanagere the second capital of Karnataka.
1/Start Under ground exclusively for Cargo ;Rail; Transport 2/RING ROADS.. METROS; SHUTTLES; TRAINS. 3/Water transport ; NODALS; 4/Elevated Trains; 5/Rope way cable cars.. UNDER GROUND ; TUNNELS. 6/Decentralise IT sectors..
What Gadgari said is absolutely right. Its not valid with respect to Bangalore, its with development of every city and towns. However you invest in projects on roads, highways, anywhere in India, its not going to ease and save the time of common people due traffic congestion. On the contrary, instead of investing so much money on infrastructure in the already congested place, there should be decentralisation of companies and commercial establishments coming up. These buildings and employment should be generated everywhere round the city than focussing on only one place. Then there should be this flexi timing introduced and enforced by every company Management and HR, be it big of small. Flexi timing is a great option so that employees travelling an hour early to work and leaving early from work can ease a lot of congestion. Plus ofcourse work from home concept, though should not be permanent, the employees can be given an option of 1 or 2 days work from home. Without all this, new infrastructures will only help the people a little. And people of Bangalore will keep on crying about he traffic. To easte conegestion, traffic distribution, no parking on the road and other small measures are a must.

To people who think Bengaluru roads are small, please cycle those roads and then let yourself know! If anyone had seen the drone footage of Bengaluru during lockdown, you would have observed how wide those roads are! Challenge yourself to cycle on those roads and be the change you need to be, at least for your future generations' sake.
Roads are smaller or bigger depends on the no.of vehicles commute on those roads.Ratio of no.of vehicles and size of the roads thats what matters. If size are roads in bangalore are double that of chennai and no.of vehicles are ten times to that of chennai then whats the point in saying bigger roads ...So just dont see the length and breadth :)
It's on US guys, not on Nitin, Not on BJP, not Congress (we can keep blaming or asking for help but won't do any good) Here's how and Why: 1) Educated working professionals are the real 21st century UN-educated culprits 🤕sadly for this. We need serious real education. We live in a environment (in-fact we see everyday) - where just one person going to office via his/her own car. Now isn't this our right to enjoy this comfort, in-fact they pay taxes isn't it? My comfort> everything. Why not use two wheelers/ cycles? Oh! we have money right, so why care + it's the politicians duties to fix our world & make it a better place, isn't it? 2) Every MNC, Startups, Companies offices in India, should start their main/ head offices in rural areas🎑. #Zoho has already started, once we do this - money flows to rural & sub-urban areas, that's where real impact starts happening. 3) Move horizontally & vertically to a limit - we prefer having tall buildings because that's what we see in other countries, but we in India have still acres of land that's lying unutilized, we need to start making use of that. When we move horizontally progress will start happening in every part of India - resulting in better infra, roads, safety and plus better standard of living (with parents, or may be in less pollution). Restrictions on vertical floors and expand horizontally, the more the company expands "Horizontally" the more India grows. 4) The cyclists or walkers to offices should be really rewarded🤩 - they are the professionals who are really saving this world, doing their bit (not just CSR activities, please, but everyday what we do matters). Future generations will be thanking them or they can tell to them, oh! we did our best to save our planet. (Living nearby to office, may increase your budget a bit, but will be at peace, plus you can rent that unit out to someone - time to step out of our comfort zones) 5) Start voting guys😶 - Yes a message to UN-educated again. Most of the people who have migrated to these cities, don't vote. They will just post here and there on social media and that too when something happened with them or with their loved ones. If you are not voting, anyway you don't a right to complain either. Let's live nearby, go via cycle or walk, move to rural areas, expand horizontally and let's Vote. Simple solutions, but DO we/ CAN we really do it?
I agree with this entirely, but most people need a nudge to change behavior especially for alternative modes of transportation like cycling and multi-modal commute. In many other countries, cycling is incentivized by both the governments and employers. They give tax rebates for cycling and also for buying any cycle for work. In France, somewhere I read that their government is offering 4000 euros to those who are willing to exchange cars for an electric cycle.
-Ban single cars ( not taxi) between 8 am to 12 pm and 5pm to 9pm. -Make sure there are no pot holes and no big speed breakers. -have a separate lane for fast moving traffic and slow moving ones. - Strictly no parking on 60 ft and 80 ft roads.
This is the strength of the NDA government. They know the problems and they know their job. India is far from having a high-class infrastructure but the center is in safe hands.
Post-liberalisation, Bengaluru suburbs expanded in a very unplanned way, especially the areas in East and South East. One can hardly find a 80ft wide main road. There seems to be no vision regarding the development of towns around them and the roads and transportation around Bengaluru. Just take Google maps and see the road in areas outside the Outer Ring Road.
Atleast fix the quality of Bangalore roads sir if nothing else. It is worst of worst. Potholes at every few meters. Surely the govt is capable of fixing it.

Real problem is north Indians setling in south bangalore Karnataka has many places to develop but Central government can't realising funds to develop other places. ಜೈ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮಾತೆ
It is the way the roads have been designed, most of the smaller roads aren't connected, they just end abruptly., thereby directing all the traffic to a few chokepoints. Smaller lanes need to be interconnected to take off the load from the arterial roads. Example 1 - If someone has to go from Marathalli to towards Hebbal, they have to cross the Tin Factory junction. Why not just open up alternate routes that connect both sides. Example 2 - If someone has to move from Kundanahalli towards Silk Board, they have to cross through Marathalli. Why not just connect the Thuburahalli road to Ring road, it will reduce the congestion at Marathalli. Just these small changes will make a big difference it traffic situation. Before long-term response to these problems are formulated, efficient use of existing resources will provide major reprieve.
good way to ease congestion in mega cities like Bangalore is rapid construction of Metro and satellite cities which are connected by RRTS. for existing traffic instead of ring road build wide tunnels roads throughout city connecting. Existing hotspots.

I am grateful to Bangalore for providing me a job that I love. But city has become too expensive, too loud and too traffic prone from the first days of my life in the city. I hope Bangalore gets more metro lines even to connect areas that is still under development. But as Gadakri ji said, Bangalore need satellite cities like Mangalore, Mysore, Hassan to decongest it.

hahahahahhaha
As a transportation planner who has lived in Bengaluru for 3 years, I have always pondered about solving this problem.
The metro construction should be completed ASAP and augmented with feeder bus system.
Additionally, the major trunk roads should be made access-controlled. And the signals should be equipped with traffic cameras with ANPR technology to issue e-fines to traffic rule violators (especially those who make extreme lane changes after crossing the stop line).
Air taxi is not going to be affordable for most people.
We need Niti Gadkari kind people, we are fortunate to have Nitin sir as road minister for our country
😂

For example, Electronic City Nice Road Exit is a benchmark for Govt's planning, execution and quality of work.
nailed it sir
Nice sarcasm but it may be hard for non metro folks to understand it...
This is what happens when people vote based on caste and party, not looking at common good and not demanding this to be resolved
Decentralization of a city ie, creation of numerous Satellite cities around the major city, with an commendable mass transportation system like the MRTS, may help solve the Bengaluru traffic
But it was really depressing when Mr. Nitin Gadkari simply said "no solution" to my beloved Bengaluru's traffic issue

This man is a visionary, the quality of work he has done in Nagpur is commendable!

problem is very evident as Nitin Gadkari sir mentioned , Industries cant huddle into a particular city , we need to create avenues/incentives for industries to spread across cities ,
IT industry is so centralized in bangalore , it shouldnt be that just 1 city bears the brunt of the entire setup
people may cite silicon valley in US and whatnot , compare the population first .. we need to plan better because of our population..
tokyo ?? Shenzen ??
different industries will centralize thats how it happens everywhere.
He is very honest and down to earth person.
Its WIP.
Kolkata is not a tyre 1 city
I am resident of bangalore. I have noticed few things
1.rapid expantion of metro project which is still going from last 15 year.
The main reason for this traffic are
Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, Gujarat have alternative cities
9. Bengaluru needs self resilient planned satellite cities like Delhi, Mumbai
By the time all this happens, it will be 50 years
another low IQ guy spotted how many G7 countries have built a new parliament in such low budget and in 2.5 years. ?
wake up complin go to sleep
And another 50 more big issues added
Some people are like we better have a congress govt who does absolutely nothing rather than a bjp govt who atleast tries and may be disappoint us in the process lol
@@Jarvis459could you tell me what did BJP govt do in Karnataka?
i think small changes to the rules will make a big difference
1. Any new house or building requires parking in the urban cities else no permission

So true.. Even they should focus on completing the on going metro projects as soon as possible.. atleast it will bring some relief..

Autowala : jaega na, aur chala gaya………..mujhe bina liye😂
Dunno why there is no shared auto concept in Bangalore (leaving few areas in HAL)...won't the auto guys benefit from it rather than creating a tussle with rapido folks?
That question should be asked to sate govt in Mumbai we have shared auto service and in Puen as well from one spot to another they charge in between 20 to 30 ruppees. If state govt makes it mandatory then they will have to follow else not
Ask your state govt whom you voted now to run metered Autos. In Mumbai all Autos run on Meters.
I was stumped by Drone Taxis!😯
The rate of adoption of new technology is the highest in Indians 👌🏼
No amount of infra will be sufficient for an illiterate public that doesn't know how to use them properly. Also the construction of this urban infra is very haphazard and low quality. Zero pedestrian friendly planning. The centre needs to come up with a comprehensive policy for de-congesting and maintaining indian cities and standardizing urban infrastructure and signage.

I appreciate that he didnot put any blame games on the issue of bangalore, rather stated that we are working on solutions to solve the issue. A minister true to his post.
Yes we need someone who does decentralisation. Please give incentives for companies and land in cities like Hubli and Belgaum.
This man is a visionary.
The lack of any urban planning and heavy concentration of IT companies lead to bangalore's legendarily bad transportation issues. Real estate developers just bribed municipal officials for building permits and erected buildings just anywhere without concern for city planning.
Chandigarh was a city planned on empty barren land. It has no history, and it has minimal population compared to a metropolitan city
Well said. Plus, its poor population is not given space in the city.
Solution for Bangalore traffic problems
1. We citizens need to be responsible ( both public and netas
2. Driving discipline ( lane)
3. In all IT corridors/companies personal transport (cars) to be discouraged/ not allowed
4. Like Singapore charge more than price of a car for RC book
5. Companies don't provide parking for cars
To implement this coordination of public, netas, IT companies, BTP, Automobile companies need to come together
If this is done the existing/upcomming projects are good enough for another 20 years. Thats the time need to look at new sustainable technology
Ask people to work from home and most of Bangalore's problems will go away- It's one of the few cities that can get the max benefit of WFH
I am guessing you are a retired person sitting at home and giving useless advice to people.
If cars/bikes are banned, buses will become over crowded. Govt. may add more buses and that ll add to the traffic. It's a never ending loop. Stop blaming the IT tax payers for traffic problems.
Blame ur favorite incompetent political parties for not building infrastructure.
Before adapting car laws from Singapore, please build Singapore level infrastructure in Bangalore.
@@rakeshkarkera6881 hey thanku for ur compliment. BTW I'm much younger than you think. I'm go through the pain day in day out in the Whitefield/Marathahalli/HSR ORR. I opined to discourage/ ban the usage of personal cars in the IT corridors during WFO days. If you're traveling in this corridor you understand bro. The traffic is mostly due to usage cars / cabs for one person. The usage of cars has increased only because we're able to buy one easily. If the RC charges are increased, the usage of cars will be reduced and with the funds the govt should be able to provide better infrastructure. I never mentioned that it's IT corridors responsibility. It's includes all

Nithin gadkari is The best and most efficient minister I ever seen
Bangalore needs ~200 flyovers for some relief and 30 Metro lines

All are rich in Bangalore, so buying cars instead of bikes. Cars are the real culprit. Karnataka should ban more than 1 car in a family.
Absolutely amazing clarity. No one can see the politics being played even when the Interviewer brought in CM Or Govt in btw. He had told abt multiple solution adopted for Mumbai and we in Bengaluru Or the Govt / Poktcns have been found napping or talking abt Guarantees ot stupid caste or Religion. He said he will meet CM to discuss, let's see where and whn CM will wake up. Gadkari is ready but, our CM shd be out like a Performer CM and not Vote catching 🕷.
Hats off to Gadkariji. 🙏
The biggest and the truest solution to this is making atleast 5-10 other Bengalurus in Karnataka, so the burden gets nicely balanced
Ask your state govt to do this.
Then all 5-10 other places will also face the crowd issue, traffic issue with time & then you will complain that these cities no longer have locals anymore & only other state immigrants
@@manikyum if your solution is that lame then yeah it's half empty when there are solutions to actually keep the glass full
If people start opting for public transport, then traffic can be avoided. World-class public transport like metros, ac buses, taxi pooling, and metered autorickshaws are needed for the mass.
Great work being done. Most of it gets lost with the lack of civic sense and the lack of lane driving
One of the solutions is to reduce people travelling to office alone in a car.. everyday i see hundreds of car with just one passenger.. all the managers, directors, CEO travel in car to "maintain" their reputation, so we'll need to ban them from doing so..
His vision is next and so interesting to what changes will come and he talks with youngsters what they want and what to do
not possible anymore, SG changed
Sir, we have faith in you. Please help Bengaluru traffic
the only option is to make world-class transport system
metros, and busses with many bus station
and it should be luxurious so everybody can travel and doesn't hesitate
so there is less need to go by car
See accepted the fact of Bangalore and talking openly is good quality manner
The main problem is corruption. In all cities there is a concept of new and old city. And new city is so much better planned. Here still the govt is sanctioning projects for builders. With out proper planning
the problem is more related to unevenly distributed population(large number of people are packed in a small area) and poor road discipline , and less use of public transport from citizen outside karnataka .
a challenge to Gadkari: Take any ONE city in India and make it a model, smart city on par with singapore..
1/Start Under ground exclusively for Cargo ;Rail; Transport
2/RING ROADS..
METROS;
SHUTTLES; TRAINS.
3/Water transport ; NODALS;
4/Elevated Trains;
5/Rope way cable cars..
South People should also learn to movie away from house and move north. Once demanr increases these companies will make buildings in north. I live in Noida and am from Assam. I have stayed in many places. While Bengaluru is cool and great but people specially south people should plan to move north because you guys will ensure quality devs and all in north too and. Public infrastructure is already great here because govt didn't have to rush things. Now its your tuen to move and decentralise. This entire India is your and mind and we should all learn to understand what Sri AdiSankaracharya had told us centuries ago.
@@erabhikdasgupta Absolutely South people should and will go to North and other places, but for that North people should develop North to the level of South in all respects. It would be great if all companies set up shop in North as they did in Noida or Gurgaon, but finally both these are nowhere near Bangalore. First and foremost the security and authoritative character of individualism without collective growth has to be shed away and people have to be simple, humble and social in culture to develop uniformly. Forget South even if North develops cities to the level to cater to the people of North, it will be great achievement and more than enough. And mind you South people are more spreaded all over India and the world than people of North. We want to see so many Bangalores in North so that its good for all. People of South will always be ready to share their intellect and experience to develop every part of India.
@@jayaprakashbalan2510 Thats the problem.withthis mentality. If noth had the capability to develop it on their own they would have done so. You don't want to move out of your comfort zone but let me tell you something, your comfort zone is not so comfortable anymore. With rising prices of accomodation, healthcare, traffic congestions, scarcity of water etc. Move out of your comfort zone and come to places where your skills will them those places grow. You need to reach out and help them develop in all respects. You guys need to be the guiding force. Only then this nation will develop. You are not making any money. All that dollar conversation salary you make, you burn in on even getting basic necessities but you can save a lot moee up north and in return north has got to learn a lot from you. Companies will only come when the employees are ready ro come. It may be hardship of 2 to 4 years in terms of food and language but when you work hard to bring that skill upgradation, you will make wonders. The northies workforce who will join and see you as a rold model they will try to work as hard as you do. But as I said you need to take that jimp out of comfort zone but if you keep waiting for miracle of Noida, Gurgaon to come to standards of Bengaluru for you to move then keep cribbing for whole nation. The developed cities will be unaffordable and newer citicies will be unskilled. And when the say you, I meant the entire south, atleast who want to join the workforce now.
When you say all iver India its always in USA, Singapore, and Europe where you have nore comfort that bengalore not other way round.
@@erabhikdasgupta Thats the problem.with this mentality. Who said North do not have the capability to develop of their own, but its simply they are more dependend on politics to develope than work on their own and how would they work on their own, when they do not believe in social collectiveness. You don't want to think out of your comfort zone and then criticize others and find your own excuses. Even rising prices is the responsibility of the people who wants differentiation between people and want everything for their own. How will then things improve or every location grow. First educated and think and move out of your comfort zone and not come, go to your own places and use your skills to develop your own place than going somewhere and spending life elswhere and then keep crying. You guys need to act than just talk. Nation will not develop if ones own place is not developed. So, first improve your roots before day dreaming. Its nothing about money. Money can't make a place or people's life develop. Companies will not come if you keep talking and playing petty useless religious politics than doing something consructive. Philosophy doesn't make you grow. Change your arrogant character and attitude and think collectively even for others. To people who think Bengaluru roads are small, please cycle those roads and then let yourself know! If anyone had seen the drone footage of Bengaluru during lockdown, you would have observed how wide those roads are! It's on US guys, not on Nitin, Not on BJP, not Congress (we can keep blaming or asking for help but won't do any good)
Here's how and Why: 1) Educated working professionals are the real 21st century UN-educated culprits 🤕sadly for this.
(Living nearby to office, may increase your budget a bit, but will be at peace, plus you can rent that unit out to someone - time to step out of our comfort zones)
5) Start voting guys😶 - Yes a message to UN-educated again.
They should have built underground metro at scale.
Its costly but will keep beauty of bangalore intact while solving the traffic problem.
The fuckers want to do penny pinching
Pune's traffic jam is also a major problem 🙂
More and more metro lines , clearing rajakaluve drain system , better public transport standards

Hyderabad roads are better as of right now. Bangalore is ntg compared to Hyderabad roads.
Let's finish metro projects in each place in bangaluru and Mumbai, that will reduce pollution as well
good way to ease congestion in mega cities like Bangalore is rapid construction of Metro and satellite cities which are connected by RRTS. for existing traffic instead of ring road build wide tunnels roads throughout city connecting. Existing hotspots.
