Burning rice.
I have had this exhaust little over a year now & it is holding up..but I thought I'd make a final video of my exhaust since I fixed it (extended it & repaired the exhaust leaks).
2000 Honda Civic EX
Stock D16Y8 SOHC VTEC

I think you made a good choice and it sounds pretty good suprisingly. High rpms are a little raspy but other than that
Just found the channel and i like it! I have the same car as you but stock, keep up the videos there great

Pablo Santy I just paid $96 for another full catback 2.5" stainless steel that I'm going to mod for my wagon. That's cheap for piping, throw on a muffler of your choice and you have a complete system far cheaper than theb$450-600 full exhausts.
Jon Widmer hey you convinced me for a Honda i would definitely do this. I had a 2g eclipse that I would just not do that to since it was a full 3 inch from the turbo back
Pablo Santy I agree on that too, it depends on the application. For a turbo and needing that 3" I would get a nicer exhaust also. For a lot of these NA hondas, these setups work very well! 👍🏻
I forgot, I believe this owner is boosted now though too! But the larger exhaust is still better for his setup!

What's up Ryan Z, I really like the wheels on your coupe. Kosei K1 correct? Where can I get a 4x100 set? & are yours 16s? or 15s?
You can still pick them up from tirerack, only in 15x7 +30 or +38, the 16" & other sizes are completely discontinued & rare & or expensive I believe

So i just ordered a Speed Daddy 4.5" exhaust tip, header, and piping from ebay. Great price and great sound but do you know if there's any performance difference?

eric rodriguez Run the stock cat to the new headers and with the new catback exhaust. Don't run the test pipe. It'll sound better, but you might lose 5 hp or so.

Why didn't you use the test pipe?
Didn't come with one, my cat is still good, so it's not as loud (daily driven)
+Ryan Z (SofaKingSteezy) i ordered the same exhaust system from speed daddy in ebay and the test pipe was included. It's the same test pipe that is on amazon. Hopefully mine isn't too loud..

Dam i like the car but holy shit that Ebay exhaust is the worst sounding exhaust i've ever heard. Sorry for beeing an ass but just saying what i think about it.
If i were you i woulda save the money a bit longer and get a better one or buy second hand a much better one rather than Ebay catback. Like the Invidia GT300 Catback. Those are the real deal.
+MyLife lol to each there own but I got this exhuast a while ago & slowly replacing all my eBay parts, its going to sound loud & raspy for the most part being because it is a d series, I have had "real" exhausts also on my hondas & others & they don't sound any different, the GT300 is just another raspy fart can with a name on it.
I dont want to say that EBAY parts are all bad. Just saying what i think about the exhaust. Loud can sound good. I always prefer the nice subaru style exhaust sound. If you watch my channel i did make an video about my Previous car EJ6 also with Invidia G300 (just see the description 0-100(60))
