How do I make the metronome match the beat of the track I just inserted into garageband? When I go to play the track, the metronome does not automatically click at the same beat of the track
How do i turn off the metronome on completed track, I used it basically as a click track but now its in the track along with the guitar, how can I fix that?
Sounds like you may have captured the click through an open mic channel while recording the guitar. Unfortunately, if it's part of the track you might have to re-record. Another possibility, I suppose, is that you have a stereo track with the guitar on one channel and the click on another? If that is the case you could just delete the click side, but that is very much a long shot guess without seeing the session itself.
Unfortunately with GarageBand the only option to change it would be to create a virtual instrument track and place the sounds you wanted on that at quarter notes. No way to natively change the click. Even Logic Pro is limited in this.
On a Mac the "Tap tempo" button is available, when you create a new project. You have to click the "details" menu, when you select the project template.

Thank you!
But what if i only want to adjust the click sound speed and not the song speed?
Unfortunately not possible in GarageBand unless you are using only audio tracks and no quantized processing.
@@RichardMaxwellMusic Yeah I switched over to studio one a long time ago.
I need a better metronome sound is there only 1 kind?
