I saw them with family and friends in 81. My nephew has seen them about 3 or 4 times. Just like you I was glad I got to see them. So glad I had siblings born in the 50s. I got introduced to some great music 😊😎

I used to go to bed as a toddler with the Stones Beatles Dylan and Cream playing among many others. I think the first song I remember hearing on my own transistor radio was either Bus Stop by the Hollies or wild Thing by the Troggs. Lol. Oh yeah and I started A Joke by the Bee Gees. I remember thinking how sad that one was as a 5 year old.

This is really one of the Stones' most under rated numbers, it is a real classic, sublime even. There are some great live and alternative versions out there as well. Black and Blue has also turned out to be one of my most played Stones albums, for all its imperfections, it has really stood the test of time.

The only part of growing old that sucked was it happened while I was young , lol
I am beyond lucky to have gotten to catch these living legends live at the Echo (300 person capacity) in Los Angeles for their $20 secret show to kick off their 50th anniversary tour. I was like 8-10 feet from the Stones the whole time. Not minding that the fact that over a third of the room was full of celebrities cause we were all focused watching the band together.
