I love this song!!! From 2010 All VA chorus, Stroope made us go a little slower, but I love your guy's sound. We had maybe half of this choir, but nonetheless still beautiful. Amazing song :)
This is a great version. It's hard to compare to every other video of this because most other choirs that sing this have about 20-30 people in it. Not even close to this many. With that many voices, it's hard to go wrong.

Don't beat yourselves up for not sounding "perfect" ... this is one of his hardest pieces to tune. That sustained E for sop2's in the middle is wicked. You're in highschool, you did a pretty damn awesome job if you ask me. I saw the AC performance - you were better this time! Bravo! Singerguy93 - mixed formation I agree. AC show: some diction was sloppy which was weird to me since Dr. Stroope is such an easy conductor to follow. His diction cues are the most precise I've ever followed.
And dr Z Randall Stroope was an honor to work with especially with my previous experience with his music absolutely beautiful

It woulda sounded better as a whole, but think of nthe lovely low B at the end! It wouldn't sound nearly as full
