Very emotional moment for me...I have waited over 3 decades to see India play like this against a good West Asian team like Kuwait.
The team has ticked all the S Boxes - Speed...Skill...Strength...&...Stamina. Of course, this is just the beginning and there's still a long way to go, but at the Asian level, India has gone up significantly.
India is fortunate to have such a wonderful player like Sunil Chetri shouldering the responsibility of leading the team for such a long time. I think he's close to forty now and at some point this golden run would come to an end.
I just hope that the Indian team management has identified the right set of players to replace the skipper when he hangs up his boots.

For me India's Right Back - Nikhil Poojary was the best player, he was fantastic always moving the ball forward with no fear, major attacks came from that side, & defensive capabilities too.. Looking at current indian football scene, I got this similar feeling when Japan was rising in football during 90s.
Just like cricket in India, baseball was the thing (and still) in Japan.
Thanks to the progress we have made in this 30 yrs, football is catching up now a day. but some people says baseball is still superior since they are one of the top in the world while football team never even been close to win the world cup yet.
But we have to remember, football is universal sports while baseball is local sports being played in limited nations (and so cricket is).
Competition is really tough but just look at the progress of japanese football scene in this 30yrs.
Therefore India do not need to urge for instant achievement.
If you guys keep supporting indian football, im sure we will see india in worldcup one day.
