Man this army looked amazing, I really like how futuristic yet very down to earth it was despite the setting, adding a lot of realism to it. I also was going to ask if you knew your models were shinier and I'm glad you made note of it. Definitely want to get started on my Konflikt '47/Bolt Action German army as my friend already has a small American force started.
Impressed with your heavy infrantry. My house rules include that the heavy infantry are cyborg soldiers. If the British can have robots it seemed to me the USA would have something along those lines.
Thank you! By cyborg, do you mean they have permanent implants like the Six Million Dollar Man, or temporary/wearable interfaces that allow them to interact with their armor and weaponry in other than the usual hand/eye ways, or something else? As I recall, the Commonwealth uses robots because they're relatively short on manpower, whereas the US rejects them partially because they don't trust them and partially because they are somewhat inflexible tactically (which is mirrored really well in the rules, IMO).
@@attentionspanlabs To be honest when I unboxed them and saw they were white lead it left me with a cyborg vibe. I see them as more of a Dethlok style cyborg where injuries are cured with bio-mech enhancements. That way they aren't robots and the us power armor philosophy still applies. I painted some with metal replacement faces just for that real steampunk sci-fi forever war feel. I'm going to use bits from my 40k leftovers to make up different weapons on my bolt action tanks too. The konflikt 47 game idea got my sci-fi jones activated.
I already am into Konflikt 47, but this definitely makes me want to build up some more of my brits and germans so I can have a nice collection like this!
Hey, we missed you last weekend at KOP. Next year definitely. Me and my sons (10+13) have recently gotten into Bolt Action/Konflikt mostly by your recommendation. This game is great. We very much appreciate you and your videos. Also the army looks great
Thanks, Ron! It means a lot to hear that. I had a fun time running the game, and I think the other three guys also had a good time. I'll share a few pictures from the event as well as some better closeups in the next few days because I never remember to take enough pictures when playing. I will probably be going to Historicon, too, but I don't know if I'll be running a game. I can probably be talked into it. :)
This is funny bc I stopped watching your older 47 video bc I wanted to see the models better. The gw video snagged me as well. I agreed with your gw video so I sub and liked.
Thinking about getting into BA/K47. A few others nearby play BA but no one K47, so looking at getting both US and Germans for myself and my sons. Starting off with two starting armies is pretty expensive though. Really wish they did a 2player starter set for K47 (may get Band of Brothers and then just a few mechs).
That's the way I did it. In my experience, a lot of BA players get excited when they see someone pull out their BA army... and then a bunch of mechs or Tesla tanks or werewolves to augment them. Good luck!
Thanks! I actually haven't been able to play since I put out this video and I'm not sure when I'll next be able to, since our new baby is due any day now. But when I do, I'll record it.
Looking fantastic. I like the power armour troopers. Off topic question- do you have any experience with Fallout terrain pieces/sets? Ive seen a couple review posts, but was looking for more info... (im a stereotypical cheap new England yankee 😂) Thanks!

I clicked purely for the captain trademark, stayed for the information
Thanks for watching!
Those little pigeons are indeed messenger pigeons used by US paratroopers.
Thanks for confirming that!
This line looks great I hope the Italian and japanese factions get more models I could totally see a metal gear inspired walker for the japaness
I have been told that more models are on the way, but I don't know which ones yet. Thanks for watching!

@@barrylucas8679 Awesome idea!
I had a tank where I did the front decal wrong so I named the tank "HapHazard" and it turned into a story for the crew 🤷
Good thinking!

Thank you for showcasing such a gorgeous alternative to 40k

Excellent stuff, brother! Keep, keeping it WEIRD!
Awesome paint job

Great looking minatures 👍🏻, would be good if you could do a battle report soon

Thanks! Re Fallout: like you, I've seen them, but that's about it. Maybe you can find one cheap second hand.

If you already have a Sherman, you can buy just the turret for around $20 last time I looked.

I don't have them at hand, but I believe they are in Resurgence (the Jap/Finn expansion).
