Akrapovic slip-on exhaust, K&N air filter, removed the snorkel before the air filter, Cobra braided brake lines, Lucas sintered brake pads, stronger(stiffer) brace between the front forks, front forks have 20mm spacers + denser fork oil. These are the main mods that helped with riding the bike, i have some other esthetic mods that made it look cooler.

+GoYamaGoKawa Hey,can you please tell me something...Do you recomend this to someones as a first bike?I mean,I have never ridden a bike before and I really want to purchase a xtx,but I am afraid its a bit too heavy and powerful for a rookie....Having own and experienced the bike, what do you think?Thank you

Its perfect as a first bike! It was my first bike for 4 moto seasons and than i sold it a couple of months ago. Before that i had a moped - piaggio ciao, so i was a real beginner when i got it :D . Yamaha XT660X needs very little maintenance, is very universal (road, touring(500+km), it can handle a bit of offroad, good for two and can be ridden on track). It is quite heavy(stock 189kg), but with some mods you can get that down to 180kg or a little less. The engine is very restricted and i suggest a sport air filter, removing the snorkel, aftermarket exhaust and iridium spark plug. The bike is built like a fucking tank!!! I have crashed 11 times on tarmack and the same number of falls offroad and there wasnt any major damage to the bike(sold it with original plastics, footpegs and foot levers). This bike has a single cylinder engine and it has its character (many people dont like this), you get most of your torque in your low and mid revs and you dont get a lot more if you rev it really high. The front brake is quite good stock, but if you change the brake line and brake pads for aftermarket ones the braking system becomes unbelievably good. Suspension is average, i suggest changing the fork oil with denser oil and you can instal some spacers to stiffen up the front end. There is nothing you can do with the rear shock, i just tightened it up. It has very good fuel economy. The ridding position is good. I have many videos from trackdays on my channel but that is not what this bike was designed for! I found out it is a perfect bike for rides 200-300km with a lot of twisty roads. It handles(corners) great up to 100kmh, 100-130kmh its OK but lacks precision, i dont advise cornering hard above 130kmh.
I hope i have answered all your questions :)

+GoYamaGoKawa Thank you very much!Wow, 189 kg is as heavy as a R1!I ve never riding a bike before, and I know little to nothing about mechanics,I just want a versatile bike! The ninja 250R,and the XTX are the top contenders.I alson wanted a Kawasaki ER-6,but it is a bit too on the hard side for a begginer...Thank you once again.I think a XTX is a perfect bike, forgiving and comfy, yet sporty and manouvrable...

189kg is with all fluids and a full tank of gasoline. Dry weight is approximately 175kg. Yamaha XT660X and Kawasaki ER6 are great first bikes. I wouldnt recomend the Ninja 250 because it is a strange bike. It looks like a supersport but the riding position is not close to supersport, compared to the XT660 or ER6 is has way less power and torque. My friend has a Kawasaki ER6-N, the engine is superb. Nice pull from the middle revs and it keeps going into high revs. It is a little heavier than the XT660, the front forks have very little travel and the front braking system should be better, but it looks good and doesnt need a lot of maintenence. You have to choose if you like supermoto or naked bike style :P
