Great video! Nice getting back out there, can't wait until I can, been feigning for some track time but have an injury to recover from. Looking forward to next year!
Biggest crash I ever had when racing minis was when we were on a dry track and it started to sprinkle. I was running down someone I had never beaten before, so all I was focused on was passing him. Instead I high sided myself to an other zip code! 😨 I didn't know it was possible to launch yourself that high on a mini. I know one thing, high siding at 35mph was bad enough, I do not want to experience it over 100mph! Be safe! Great video! And yes, you are a "Lucky Man" to have a wife that not only supports hobbies that you like, but actually enjoys them with you! She is a rare find!
Please upload more track days. I enjoy watching people learn their machines 🤜🤛💪💪💪 Also, I'll have to make my way down to you guys in Florida someday. Can't be the only guy out there on a naked!!
Yaaaaaaaaaasssssss!!! 😎👊 Sounds like you're getting a bit of our New Hampsha' temps. 🥶 Really enjoy the "vlog style" video showing a bit of everything about your day. I take video every time I go(didn't miss a single track day this past season😁) but I don't like being in front of the camera so it's basically just me documenting the day. I really do appreciate the effort you both put into your videos, thank you! Looking forward to more great content. Keep yourselves safe! Randy 😃👍❤️🏍
Q3s are perfect for that kinda cold rainy weather... where they start to fail is in the heat like 110+ they melt on hard acceleration still confidence inspiring though
That’s awesome! I usually ride advanced but I rode intermediate this last weekend bc I had a new to me bike and haven’t ridden much in the past few months

@@SALTxTHExWOUND I thought it was its only less than an hour away from me. Pretty cool seeing on track footage of it and it's from someone I just started following on UA-cam lol. Thanks for answering and I enjoy the vids maybe one day when I'm ready for the track I'll see you out there 👍
I guess the moto gp riders don't know anything about warming up tires or keeping the tires warm because I see them doing all the stuff he said not to do because doesn't work. I understand is not all you need to do but it does help better than nothing, and I do understand the temperature is created by the flexing of the rubber. I have over 100 track days. Going to the same track this coming weekend Jennings gp is a little fun track. Thanks for the video
I’ve never actually seen a MotoGP rider swerve to warm up their tires? They use tire warmers, but they may do it from time to time when coming out of grass or gravel pit to knock the debris off the rubber before going back on race line. Have fun!
@@SALTxTHExWOUND coming out of the pit sometimes which I can't understand and also approaching the grid after their warm-up lap. It's probably a habit. Fabio does it a lot. I personally don't do it at the track but on the road I do sometimes.
I had my fz07 there in early November. Had my fz09 there in October and just got new suspension for it and will be bringing that back this weekend actually 🤘 coming up from Clearwater so shout out to Tampa bay 🤙
Are you guys going to be there with STT next weekend? I have some things in storage that have been there since I traded in my '16 GSX-R750 in 2018 that I planned on giving you. I can't use them anymore, and I hate selling stuff on the internet. Much easier to give it away.
Wow I’d love to take you up on that! Unfortunately we won’t be back until January, I’d be happy to pay you shipping if it’s things we need, shoot me a DM on Instagram if you use it 🙏🏻
This was just for fun, but I still would have to disagree. Fast is relative. A fast track day riders fastest pace may be 10's of seconds slower than a professional racer just having a brisk ride.
Man it felt so good to be back! Can’t wait for more next month! Hope you all enjoy and maybe we’ll see you out there one day! 🏁🙌🏻

@@TheFloridaBikeVlogger haha close enough 😉
Looks like you both had a great time. Glad to see getting to open up that sweet FZ-07!
Now that I’ve got the RS660 I’d love to learn from you guys. I’ve never been to the track before.
Very underrated and misunderstood tire tip - way to promote the good stuff! Stoked to see you both pushing and improving !!

Looks like yall had a great time. Wish I could go to the track, but I'm no Florida man so Im stuck with snow for a while.
Ahh I feel your pain, except in FL it’s the opposite, the summers are brutally hot and we don’t ride much
All good when no crashes! Way to get out there and take it easy. 👍👌

Absolutely! Definitely wasn’t the right conditions for really pushing hard. We’ll be back at it soon!

good to kno bout the tires for braking and acceleration
A lot of people get told to weave and such, especially on the street riding side and it’s absolute nonsense. One of those tales that need to die 😂
Love Jennings GP, my son and I are on our third year.
Such a fun track! We’re going on our third year also!
On every single trackday there is at least one guy who tries to skip warm up laps and crashes on the first lap of the session.
So true, I don’t get it 🤷🏻♂️
so I just recently moved here to St. Pete... where is that track at?
It’s called Jennings GP, it’s about 3.5 hours north of St. Pete but well worth it. You should definitely plan to go the beginning of the year 🎉
