  • Another song from John T. La Barbera’s book of Traditional Southern Italian Mandolin & Fiddle Tunes. It is described as a song about one’s longing for a love who seems to have vanished mysteriously by a spell, cast by a magician or fairy. Played on a a vintage (1896) Michele Maratea bowl back mandolin accompanied by myself on a Mini Cordoba guitar.

Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks very much for your very positive and flattering comments. I can say with confidence that there are many excellent videos on YT of people playing mandolin, should you be interested in listening to more mandolin playing.
