- TAGNBRAG Nation this week on Food Plot Chronicles we are going to learn how to trim and prune apple trees to get a better stand of apples in the fall. Apple trees are a major native resource for the deer and other animals in our area of New York. I can remember when we were younger and growing up hunting, our one apple orchard would drop so many apples it was hard to take a step with our stepping on one when you were walking through it. The apple crop has gone down hill since them but the mad scientist is bringing them back. Dean did his research and learned how and why to prune apple trees in order to make them flourish once again! And man oh man did he nail it on the head. We have some serious apples growing on our property this year! Sometimes you don't have to till up ground and plant a bunch of crops in order to have good food on your property. You just have to take care of whats there!

Dang those are some badass apple trees!!! Them just wild apple trees or did yall plant them years ago??
Nope those are wild apple trees! Pretty crazy. We’ve had apple trees like that on our land since we were little but they don’t typically grow like this. Deano made them pop!
