And fabric printing is so advanced now, that even some tail makers have taken advantage of this new technology and made realistic looking fabric tails. Some examples are Magictail, Finfolk, Mertailor and Courtney Mermaid. No longer are tails candy colored and catered to children. The adult market is huge and its keeps growing.

I love my fabric tails, silicone just seems like a big investment and travel wise and up keep seem like a lot i do prefer mertailor fantasea fins due to the fact that i am a floaty person. And the silicone is super comfortable to swim in and i don't get any cramps
*Aesthetic* nah, seriously, my biggest concern rn is buoyancy. I float really well so I've added lions paws and similarly heavy shells to my costume to help me sink. I've thought about weight belts, but what if I do have to drop it and it just has to sit there at the bottom of the lake🙄 I'm sure there's worse down there, but I'll still feel bad
what should i do for color picking though? what i want is to have a tail that works for performing for kids and one that is more fun for me (like one that is darker and more realistic for myself)
I'm swimmable fabric kind a guy, and I swim in merman tail for fun plus my little cousins love it when I play merman with them it gives them joy and laughter.
I haven't been able to get a monofin or tail, in fact I will likely have to make my first tail... and it would mostly just be for hobby. I would... someday like to get a silicone tail but that's kind of a... far far in the future a maybe thing among all my other insane amount of interests... too many interests. >.< lol
SilverMichi hi, if u realy want a mearmaid tail in silikone i made mine by myself and i did it as a hobby too xD it's not perfect but i love it. Try it. ^^ It will be yours it will be original ^^ just try it. If u like i can give you tips.

I suggest not getting from that brand.. they steal the mermaid tail looks from other people and they aren’t swim able even though they say they are 😕 I was looking into getting one of those too but then I looked it up on UA-cam and the reviews are not good 😞

Btw Courtney, I finally finished adding the silicone to my Leviathan!!!! I need to hunt down the right paint but the hard part is done and she still fits great!
