I totally understand how it feels to want to put the DSLR down for a while! My fav camera to carry is a canon G5x- mk 2. It’s small enough to fit in my pocket and works well for casual images, but it also shoots a 20 megapixel file, so if I happen to capture something special or just get lucky, I’m able to give an image some love in Lightroom and maybe print a large piece. I've had a bunch of digicams and the 1100 was one of my favorites. The s90 and s95 are the best if you ever get a chance to try those.

I went through three A1000s, an A1300 and an S95 over the years. My complaint is that they wore out, they were a blast to use when they were cheap.

@@AngelaZuniga Me too. The battery doors are their weak point. The S95 got the "lens error" which is common I guess, but what a beautiful camera.
