Simple weapons for additional cwis but mostly for decoration as this clearly is based on historical designs but with a modern twist of lasers and railguns. Historically ships has a lot of smaller guns on them as secondary and AA batteries but in ftd since a block is 1m cube it's difficult to make nice looking small complex weapon systems so simple weapons are great replacements. Edit: I rarely cheer for the other craft but historically inspired ships are at the centre of my heart and I am really surprised with the hagelslags performance. It's armor might not be super strong but its active defences and overwhelming offence is covering up for that in spades.
I thought for certain it was going to win. Can't even really say what it's main weakness was. The armor was a bit ill fitted for CRAMs but other than that seemed rather solid. I'm sure it is going to wreck anything else it is up against in future battles however.
The CIWS being at the fore/aft is kinda rough for them - in my experience you want CIWS to be firing from near the areas you expect to be hit to be most effective, because otherwise they are frequently firing at odd angles that force many shots to miss. I think they'd have dealt with the CRAMs a ton more efficiently if they'd been, say, between the two turrets closest to the superstructure.
Yup. I love seeing proper brawls where both vehicles take and give back many big hits. Slow aps don't always do well, but the extra payload is really nice. Also, why do we call Adv. cannons aps?
Probably one of the best non laser CIWS systems i have seen.
this is definetly< something the british would come up with

Definitely a strong one! Perhaps it just had a bad day lol? ⚓️
Sometimes everything was perfect but the luck was lacking 🤔
Gimle can't win, it simply spawns a rock :)
But anyway what a nice battle.

Thats ships armor is like the most Heat paranoid armor ever

Hagelslag is something dutch eat on bread and the colorfull aps shells are tottaly meant as hagelslag xD
