I took a year and a half (and counting) break from social media. The longer it’s been, the more I don’t even care to care about what/who is on social media. It’s been the best thing ever. So much more joy in every aspect of my life 🤗
I felt the Lord telling me to take a break from instagram and yesterday was the last day of my 40 day fast from instagram. It was incredible for my mental, emotional, and spiritual health!
I was just thinking about you! You look so refreshed, so happy to see you back! I did a fast 2 weeks ago for about a week and it was soooo good. God seriously came through like never before and spoke to me. It was amazing!
I’ve been on a social media fast for 2 years now. I guess it’s no longer a fast but a permanent thing lol I relate so much with a lot of the things you said in your video. It’s been a complete life changing experience and enjoying every moment thus far. I believe Gods timing is so perfect. I am a witness of that. 💕
When I did the fast, God showed me so many new things and to be grateful for where I am. I’m going to take a 2 month break from Social media and see where that takes me to dig deeper!

Feel like I need to take a break from it, I’m feeling very overwhelmed. I got out of a 2 year relationship that I thought would last forever. Sadly he didn’t feel the same way. So he broke up with me. I put myself so much into him that I forgot about myself, not to mention I got a new job while going through that break up. So I took a few months from actually dating but then got back on dating apps. Went on a few okay dates and a few bad ones but I’m overwhelmed by dating and people in general.
Glad your back! I agree. Sometimes we need to just take a step back. It's easy to fall into the comparison trap and be glued to our phones. I think I'll try to do the same soon. God has been doing amazing things through you over the years. I can't wait to see what's next ❤

I did take a break for a week right after you started and it helped me a lot in processing and closing a chapter from my 2021 :) I’m so happy you shared and encouraged us to do the same :) and agree that you’re looking so fresh! I hope to see more of how you are becoming more and more like Jesus💕

Here because I saw someone having a house built, and immediately got depressed. Wondering why it hasn’t happened for me. Why every time I take 2 steps forward, I am thrown 10 steps back. Why my life is not where it needs to be. Why I had to get divorced. This is not what I planned! Then I felt jealously creep on me. Then saying it will NEVER HAPPEN FOR ME. I just deleted social media 10 minutes ago. It’s just me and God for a good while now. Hoping for the best.

I grew up in the Methodist church and used to practice Lent! I gave up Snapchat, Instagram, and Twitter for the 40 days and was shocked at all the time I had. I believe we all really have so much time for fulfilling things, yet don't make the moves to free ourselves from distraction and consumption. It was such a great memory!

Declutter your house!! I never realized how much stuff I didn’t need, if you have a dog train it, read, get outside, etc there’s so much more to life!!
