You need to have a good level of Emotional and Mental stability in order for this to work. If not, Anxiety WILL take over and beat the fuck outta you. Learning to control that is not an easy thing. 3. Wait about 5-7 days to reach out. Most likely she’ll reach out to you. (A) if you reach out just say hope you’re having a nice week. Do you want to get together? When are you available? Set the date.
(B) if she reaches out, same thing. How was your week? Shall we meet up for dinner? When are you free? Set the date.
4. When she goes cold, do not reach out to her. She will get back to you if she likes you. If you chase her, her attraction will drop and she’ll be gone. When she reaches out, set up the next date.

This is a good thing. Personally, I would say after a date. If the girl texts you that evening just say you had a good time and thanks, then wait a few days before texting. If she contacts you the day after the date or later, then I think you can set the next date. "I enjoyed last night. How about going for dinner this Friday after work?" Or "If you're free this Friday, I can make dinner for you." Either of these would be good. Unfortunately, we guys don't get a guidebook on dating. Wish you success!

I have a similar situation right now. I start texting a girl and we had a first date that went so well. We kept contact after the date and she started her master's exams period. Then the messages, although nice and engaging, started to get more spaced between them. It's been now 6 days since my last messages have not been replied. I know she had lot ef exams left and reports to write, so maybe that stress made her pull away. But, never put the hand on the fire for anyone. I'm giving her space and the benefit of the doubt as it's the first time she pulls away, but I do it within my frame, keeping on with my life and start talking to other women. Time, patience and self control is key.

He said , be casual , not passive aggressive . Act like everything is fine and nothing special happened , don't give her power over your feelings . It Not that important what you tell her when she asks where you've been , the ideea is to give her the impression that you have more value than her , that if she is gone , you have other options.
This is exactly the problem I have with the whole 'mirroring' tactic. Providing that she comes back at all... For me, when a guy goes silent, I assume that he has lost interest and doesn't want to be together anymore. If I chased a guy back and he responded to me with nonchalant indifference, I would absolutely start looking for someone else who actually cares about my feelings.
I'd say just try to maintain consistent communication where possible. Ask her how often she would like to communicate, and communicate what you would like as well.

Tough situation man, but from an outsider's perspective, you need to set a boundary for yourself or this will go on forever. You cannot be in a relationship with someone who allows other people to interfere, nor can you solve her problems for her. She is the only one who can change things, so the decision is hers. Technology has ruined so much communication. Thats the end result of shortcuts that phones have created, but there are no shortcuts to genuine connection, which must be IN person! that's the only way.
It used to be where you had to go find and confront them, or call. There was no shortcut to that.
But nowadays if you go find them, your considered a stalker, or crazy, but in truth that's probably the best way to find out wtf is going on.
Technology has created so much distrust among ourselves with soulless shortcuts ( texts), that we have FORGOTTEN how to deal with these awkward and uncomfortable situations in person....but believe me, if you get through that, the bond becomes closer and more genuine.
Closure should be in person or at the very least a call. NOT A DAMN TEXT, it means nothing to stare at a 6 inch piece of glass and think your getting a real connection, its not...thus all the damn problems people are having in relationships.
