I'm 56 and I've learned it's never too late to start taking care of your skin. I've been on this skin care journey with you since the beginning of your channel and yes, my skin looks a lot better! I think your skin is absolutely gorgeous and you are such a beautiful woman on the outside, but also on the inside. @@SewWhittle I just recently started and I have a long way to go. I’ve been frying in the sun since I remember. Tanning oils, tanning beds for years. Lived in tropical climate and didn’t wear sunscreen at all. I felt happiest the darker I was. I’m almost 40 but my skin looks so damaged and unhealthy. It’s going to take years to get where I want it to be. It’s not just my face but my chest, arms all covered with dark marks. I need a Time Machine

you are right to take pictures. I had dark circles under my eyes since I was a teenager. I swore that they would never go away. Well after about 18 months of using a top notch eye cream (after washing and serum) I suddenly noticed that they were gone. I really have no idea how long it took. I was in my mid fifties. 10 years later, my under eye area is less dark than at 16

I have been paring down my products. I used too many before. I'm now focussing on things I know make a difference plus I'm looking at only buying products with less rubbishy chemical ingredients. Often at night now I'll just use a retinoid product and then organic rosehip oil and a more natural moisturiser. Still adjusting the day products. I'm also over the amount of plastic used in bottles and tubes. ❤

I enjoyed this video so much. Thank you! On my lazy evenings(more frequent than I care to admit), I clean my face with my microfiber Norwex face cloth and add a good amount of high grade organic rose hip seed oil. My favorite moisturizer. I mix it with a few drops of frankincense and lavender. I love the scent and the dry oil works so well on my 67 year old face (as of yesterday I’m 67🙈). 😬 Looking good Sista!!💪🏼☺️💕🌺

      Happy Birthday!
I keep Micellar water stocked for my lazy night, usually at least 1x/wk (and any night eye makeup). And then water moisturizer is handy. My skin is pretty sensitive and I think of it as giving my skin a “strategic” night off my retinoid or glycolic acid, 😂

Many good tips!!! I cannot go to bed without cleaning my face and doing my skincare. I try to always make sure I do it before I watch TV or read, etc. I’ve never had the best skin so I think that has made me very particular about that!

Great tips, Kimberly! You might want to consider putting some emergency skincare products in your PM skincare routine for those nights when you are just too whipped to do your regular routine. I use micellar water to remove makeup on those nights, then spray my face with
Avene water and give it a second wipe. That way I don't have to get up out of my chair and can still do PM skincare. Glad you are busy. Makes the days move along at a nice pace!

This video was what I needed to hear because I had lots of troubles these past 3 years that have brought health issues and depression, so I have become obsessed with my skin and appearance, and sometimes if I miss one of my many, many steps I feel so bad... I want to add something to your comment about night time routine. I too am usually too exhausted at bedtime, so I do my full evening routine while cooking dinner. If I do go out in the evening, I use makeup remover wipes when I get home. They are super quick and then you don't have makeup blocking the moisturizer that you can quickly put on. They take about the same amount of time as brushing your teeth.

I use morning Vit C followed by centella asiiatica because it's proven to quadruple the Vit C ability in collagen stimulation. Then I add red ginseng essence/toner Then a ginseng serum. Ginseng is anti aging
PM I use tret combined with peptides I have essences toners and serums.
Of course I have sunscreens moisturizers and oils depending on what my skin needs. I use mostly K beauty. Some indie small brands like Stratia and maelove
And always a chemical K sunscreen because the UVA filters are the best

While she hasn’t said that she uses sunless tanners, I can guarantee you that her golden glow is all from the Florida sun. Everyone that I know that lives in Florida, looks this golden 😉

Good tips....thank you! However, I think the phrase "anti aging" is deceptive. We all age....there is no ANTI. We just need to accept this fact and age with health, dignity and grace. You look healthy and happy....thanks for all the great advice and positive inspiration! I am 63 almost 64 and I enjoy watching and listening to you.
