That was a nice time spent with sailers that didn't feel so staged. I appreciate your openness and honesty. I'm on a one more year plan of boat restoration be fore I leave. Also keeping it simple. I fix boats for work and will endure some discomfort and spend more time exploring. I wish you well. Things seem to work out in the end. If I end up in mexico, you're welcome to come sail with me and have a break. Take good care.😊
Sounds like an awesome plan! Simplicity seems like the key to 😊 especially when things brake ! Good luck for your adventure and perhaps we meet along the way!
I maybe bias but that was the best Q&A Ive seen. We normally get bored watching with the constant delay while your reading the questions. Its also refreshing to hear your not planning to cross the Atlantic at this stage and exploring the more scenic northern area's, the West Coast of Scotland is on my wish list. My wife just wanted to sympathise with Pernille she's not alone being restricted with the power use.
Really enjoyed your question answer chat, very cool & calm video, great plan to sail to Ireland and spend winter in the canaries ⛵️ We all need to make some money to live on, but the most important things in life are free, and I think you guys are wealthy in the best things in life Wishing you health joy peace & love
Great to see uou both a wonderful video lovley couple it's super awsome what you're doing ,do you have any plans to sail towards newzealand, ofcourse you have answered this question on this episode so just keep going that's important
It was ALL good and worth watching. The Orcas in the Straits of Gibraltar are a real pain in the butt for smaller boats! I wonder if there will be less yachting tourism as a result as time goes by? Or maybe people will form flotillas and go through en masse every so often? Some sort of behaviour change by us humans. Good luck with all you do
Thank you very much for the comment Neil! Yes they are a bit of a pain, but although they certainly affect sailors and put some extra stress on sailors and their boats, there is not much off an alternative for people going N/S or in and out of the Med. It seems the area is rather a passing point so not many people stay around for long. It seems indeed that more and more sailors choose to go in teams, it might not help much but gives a sense of security. Staying coastal and following their patterns as able is still the best option. Let's hope they grow out of it or perhaps get other thinks to play with (Tuna) !
Thank you all for your lovely comments 🙏 it's great to have such kind and supportive followers 😊

Great Q and A you two are so straightforward and authentic. You’ve given up a lot but maybe gained more as a consequence. Inspiring and uplifting.
Thanks Lucy! It's a trade off, but a rather great one 😉
Great Natural chat, and love how your so open. HR's are lovely boats, and we also chose our first viewed boat !
Thanks, great to hear so many enjoyed it! It saves quite some time buying the first boat - unless off course it's bad 😔

If you do come to Ireland make sure you visit Schull in west cork and my wife and I will buy you a Guinness or two and show you about.
That's super kind of you! We are good in remembering such offers so we might just show up and demand our Guinness 😂 would actually be super fun 😊
Go to Scotland💜💛❤️💙💚♥️projects are never fixed 😂😂😂
We hope to go there soon ish! Yes as long as the mast stands and the boat floats all is well 😁
