    I’m super curious now about the finished look, you’re going to have a castle tower☺️ Hopefully you take some time to enjoy your family’s visit too.❤
    I know the animals moved on Despina’s channel but missing the 2 baby goats, they must be fully grown now🐐🐐

    I wonder something. The weeds look to be clover ☘️. If so why can’t the goats come over there and eat it? You wouldn’t have to feed the hay you already have. It just look like good food for them. Also Despina and her brother look like identical twins.

    • @Yetica91
      @Yetica91 2 місяці тому +2

      We got clover in every meadow, here in Latvia. Nothing rare, so goats, most likely, get plenty of it.

      @@bridgwll I don't know but I do know that body builders use protein powder and drinks for putting on weight and protein is important for fighting infections and healing from the daily labors.

    You are going to regret what you did in the future, you didn't use real concrete ( I didn't see any ballast), and you poured it on
    something that already had to be removed, and you put the rebar to close to the edge.
    I love your channel but sometimes I wish you did some more research before start a project.

    • @minime7375
      @minime7375 2 місяці тому +5

      There are different grades of concrete, he used the right one, they already had the rougher grade underneath, in the existing foundation. It’s a lightweight extension, similar to a gazebo, it doesn’t need more than that imo.

    • @markschattefor6997
      @markschattefor6997 2 місяці тому

      @@minime7375 I watched previous episodes again, and I am conviced that it can handle the weight,
      but what I see as a future problem is how close the rebar is to the edge/outside of the concrete.
      This is gonna start concrete rot ( betonrot) .
      And I'm afraid that a lot of temporary solutions will be there for vey long time.

    • @minime7375
      @minime7375 2 місяці тому +5

      @@markschattefor6997 Imo they’re going to keep changing and improving their home for many years to come, they’re already undoing some of their temporary solutions and redoing them properly. They learn as they go. I know what you mean with the rebar but it’s not that close and they used a very tough concrete, my mother’s front footpath was made like that (no gravel, very fine sand, a lot of cement) and it hasn’t got one crack since the 1980s. Mine was done “properly”, with the aggregate mix 4 years ago and it has cracks as wide as my finger already.

    • @markschattefor6997
      @markschattefor6997 2 місяці тому

      @@minime7375 When they did your footpath/driveway was there something underneath the concrete that was able to prevent it to loose most of its moisture
      into the dry soil underneath it?

    • @minime7375
      @minime7375 2 місяці тому

      @@markschattefor6997 Nah, proper builders did it, they laid a bed of rocks, used rebar and everything. It’s possible the soil underneath shifted a bit, idk but it did crack quite a bit. I supervised the whole thing and it was done properly, it’s not the kind of crack that shows from drying too fast, rather like whole sections shifted.
